Samsung Galaxy Note 7 alternatives: Best super-sized smartphones that won't explode - Pocket-lint

    Google Pixel XL

Like the iPhone 7 Plus, the Google Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch screen, but one that is Quad HD like the Galaxy Note 7. But because it is fractionally smaller, that means it actually has a higher pixel density (of 534ppi) so should look even sharper than the Samsung alternative.

You're not getting the gorgeous curved edge design of the Note 7 but you are getting the first smartphone (along with its smaller sibling, the standard Pixel) run from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. This means it is one of the very first phones to be compatible with Daydream, Google's new virtual reality system.

Honestly, there is nothing like the Note 7. It just sucks to have this kind of drawback when it seemed like samsung has gotten it right finally.

Wala na, America is going to a trump presidency. They need to dominate the smartphone business both software and hardware built in America. Like Apple, now Google Pixel.

Next stop Google will stop making Android an open system. Why because there's too much risk in global security and privacy.

So in the end we will only choose two proprietary systems. iOS or android,

Not really much of a choice, Samsung won't support it anymore. That means no more software updates, parts or unit replacements. Maybe wait for Note 8?

i've watched some videos of kids stabbing a Lithium battery(exposing it to air/oxygen). Mala Thermite pag lumiyab, and it burns long. It's not the typical microsecond spark and pop you get with capacitors ^_^

Seriously, can we claim damages from samsung for the anxiety and sleepless night watching the phone while charging? I would like an iphone 7 and the apple watch as compensation.

May tama ka OB. Possible sinabotahe ni google si samsung para bibenta ang pixel. Nilagyan ng virus and source code ng android para lang mag overheat. Bibili ka ba ng pixel? Pang SC un.

Hehe. Sa US siguro they can claim damages of that nature bro. Dito, not so lucky. Tumatawad pa nga judges dito minsan sa damages.

Naisip ko din yung conspiracy theory ni OB, ganda kasi ng timing ng Pixel release. A virus could in theory hold cpu and/or gpu usage to 100% indefinitely which could overheat it. Or maybe overclock it even?

Might be also a manufacturing defect that could not be fixed in a short period.
