    This is actually the first time I had a chance to examine the APU part of my kid's old A10-7850k PC. It actually does fairly decent so long as I don't thumb my nose at sub-1080p resolutions and Low/Medium details. At 1440x900, most games I have are playable enough.

    I think I'll assemble a compact HTPC around the A10-7850k and pair it with a portable monitor.

    Tried playing the PS4 COD Modern Warfare 2019 on the PS5. It does make the graphics better.

    I really like the A10-7850k. I confined dynamic lighting to objects only in STALKER: Call of Pripyat. And, boom! The framerates nearly doubled. It's an old game engine. So, I don't think losing dynamic lighting is a big deal. If it's not stormy or rainy, I can max out the details. Otherwise, settings stay at Medium. The rain really tears into the framerates.

    Currently playing Diablo II: Resurrected (beta). Some graphical enhancements and changes to the user interface, but still the same enjoyable game. And I still prefer this to Diablo III.

    Thse who pre-ordered got it 48hours or so earlier. But its now free on the PS Store. It took me a while to find it though (or maybe I was just not as nerdy as before) and you need a Battle.net account (free to register) before you can actually play.

    If you've played D2 or even D1 practically the same as D3. Its still hack and slash like D3, but the difference is D1 & D2 (especially the latter) allows more control of how you build your character. Unlike D3 where all you do when you level up is choose what skill to learn, D2 actually lets you assign the points to your character stats (strength, dexterity, magic, etc.) in addition to a better skill tree so you can really have different charcaters even if they are of the same class.
