BTW webcams are cheap just get a separate one to save wear on your digicam. I used to have a digicam w/ webcam capabilities, a Minolta. Never used the webcam function, too fussy to set up all the time...Last edited by Psylocke; August 13th, 2006 at 04:51 PM.

1) most current digicams can take at 1 picture per second. others have "burst mode", can take about 3 pictures per second
2) sonys and casios have good battery life. My slim S600 can take over 2 hours of video. The larger models double that.
3) most cams now have high-ISO capabilities, but are very noisy, solution get a dslr

I'd like to replace my 5-year old Nikon Coolpix 995 with one of those slimline digicams. Problem is, it's one tough camera. Ayaw pa ring masira. Even the 5-year old batteries are still doing great.
