It's not in the camera bro... it's in the photographer... the camera is simply a tool... no matter how simple your camera is, if you have composed it well, the image would come out well.
At any rate, are you looking for film or digital cam? At the price range you indicated, I believe that you don't intend to go into SLR (single-lens reflex) cameras with interchangeable lenses.
I have not checked the prices of point and shoot digicams lately but I suggest you check the websites of "known" brands (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta, Kodak, etc.) and check their prices.
Once you have an idea of what model, visit their stores and check them out. Pero don't buy there, just check out the models they have. Then you can go to Hidalgo in Quiapo to buy. Good store there are Watson's Photo and Aperture Photo.
Happy shooting.
May ganun ba sa 8-10k range????? May ganyan sa 15-20k range pero I doubt kung meron sa price point na gusto mo....
mga 2nd hand na 3.2mp ang mabibili mo diyan pero tiyaga na lang...
meron akong Nikon 3100 kaso sira yung battery cover niya aside from that ok siya no problem
Bili ka ng Casio Exilim Z110. 10k nalang ngayon. 6MP, AA batteries, VGA 30fps movie mode, full manual mode, aperture priority, shutter priority. Uses SD cards. OK na OK ito.
I almost bought this but opted for the slimmer S600 instead...
Marami ding limitations ang iba't-ibang camera, so kahit na magaling na photographer ka the picture can only come out as good as the capabilities of your camera.
Meron akong digital camera at ang bad trip sakin ay ito:
1) Ang bagal mag-write sa memory. Pagkakuha mo ng picture, you have to wait for about 3-5 seconds to allow the camera to finish writing to its flash memory.
So sa susunod kong bili ng digital camera, write-speed, battery life, saka shutter speed yung una kong kikilatisin.
18k
very slim, best-in-class battery life, mpeg4 movies you can ditch your camcorder
BTW webcams are cheap just get a separate one to save wear on your digicam. I used to have a digicam w/ webcam capabilities, a Minolta. Never used the webcam function, too fussy to set up all the time...

1) most current digicams can take at 1 picture per second. others have "burst mode", can take about 3 pictures per second
2) sonys and casios have good battery life. My slim S600 can take over 2 hours of video. The larger models double that.
3) most cams now have high-ISO capabilities, but are very noisy, solution get a dslr
I'd like to replace my 5-year old Nikon Coolpix 995 with one of those slimline digicams. Problem is, it's one tough camera. Ayaw pa ring masira. Even the 5-year old batteries are still doing great.
