I'm in the market for a point-and-shoot camera. From what I've read in the net, the pixel war is over. The trend in point-and-shoot cameras is one that takes the best quality pictures at any given time and situation.

Would-be buyers are now looking for point and shoot cameras with image stabilization and good ISO ranges. From what I've read, the camera which has image stabilization and an acceptable ISO range (up to 800) and is available in the Philippines (for service/warranty issues) is the Canon Digital IXUS 800 (Powershot 700 IS).
