Humans are very adaptable. The noise from a window A/C is just superficial and will "go away" in time. That is, your brain will learn to ignore it eventually.
Yes, you'll get used to it. The sound it makes will be like a lullaby. I remember many years ago, I was sleeping besides a boiler literally! I can't imagine how I was able to adapt but I did.

Just to reiterate, *travajante, inverter type will "cost less" if "used more". In other words, if you'll be using the air conditioner seldomly then you should stay away from inverter types​.
