Do consider brands, usage, savings, comparative purchase costs between conventional units & inverters prior to deciding. Inverters are proven to cut around 40% of energy consumption, yes, but It might go against reason if the usage is seldom or short. Savings can be much or lil & recovery, short or loooong...depending on usage.
Inverters are like modern cars.....laden w/ more complex circuitry & have more parts that may be prone to dying than conventional.... Always check the model's reviews & reliability feedback. Some do prematurely die prior to cost diff recovery.
