Note FE units are brand new Note 7 phones with reworked internals, specifically smaller batteries na. So technically they won't explode like the original Note 7.
You might also want to wait for the Note 9 on August, bababa na din price ng Note 8 malamang tho not by much. Sa Sony kasi 5K lang difference ng new sa previous model. You might want to consider a grey market XZ1, around 23-25K na lang. Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, microSD slot up to 256GB, 64GB UFS ROM, plus complete with Sony's wired and wireless audio features (DSEE HX, Digital Noise Canceling, LDAC, aptX HD, etc) [emoji4]

Almost 2 days of using the XZ2, impressive battery life (even with just 3180 mAh capacity), equally impressive performance, no overheating issues unlike my old device na akala mo plantsa minsan, and good ergonomics.
Mabigat lang talaga tska mataba with an IMAK airbag case. Definitely one of the most underrated phones in the market.

I'm quite surprised at the lack of heat in the XZ2 Compact when I play Hearthstone. I can feel just a slight warmth at the back of the phone, which impresses me since it's a small form factor and I imagine that thermal management would be difficult. I've been using it for a month now, and no complaints so far. Fast, responsive, great battery life (yes, even the Compact variant).
I've been using it naked (no case) - I'm still waiting on the style cover from Amazon UK.
I can't stand holding the phone without a case lol! Sobrang dulas nung curved back glass. Tska prone sa scratches din. The phone does get slightly warm when plugged in a QC 3.0 charger, but even if I leave it on data connection, it stays cool when in use. I don't play games, tho benchmark scores reveal its GPU's strengths. Hindi ko namimiss yung Snapdragon 810 [emoji23]

I'd just get the Note 8 now, if I were you.
You've pretty much maxed out the utility of your current phone and waiting for the Note 9 makes zero sense if the reason is that you're holding out for new features which you won't be using much anyway. It doesn't seem to me that getting newer cellphone tech is that important to you, so just get the current flagship already.
I thought kasi when the glass broke na I need to replace it right away. But the guy at the cellphone repair shop that the LCD is not broken so the broken glass won't have any effect on the phone. I don't mind using a phone with broken glass. If same price Note 8 with Note 9 I can wait.
Yeah! hahaha! I am starting to adjust LOL
I am thinking kasi I plan to use the phone at least 5 years. So if I get the latest, I can use it longer. I have apps nga that won't work with my Note 2 anymore![]()
