    Thank you. I guess I'm getting the A32 6GB. It's P10,990 now on Lazada.

I will have to dispose off my old phones to at least recoup some of the cash....

    Samsung S8+
    Samsung A30
    LG G6
And soon, my wife's Oppo A5s

Tamad na ako ibenta isa-isa. I might just sell them sa mobile phone tiangge as one lot.

    Meron 12,490 sa Lazada na A32 8GB.

This is just the 4G/LTE version. Iba price nung 5G variant. I didn't get the 5G version because it's not AMOLED. Ito hindi ko gustong ginawa ni Samsung.

I can wait till the end of the year, let's see if I can catch a better deal....

Btw, the 5g for this 8gb, is amoled based on specs at Lazada, are they using a different screen for the 6gb? I thought it should be the same unit, but only of different memory?

Don't trust specs listed on Lazada.

The 5G models of the A32 has a TFT 720p display. This is confirmed in Samsung's website and GSMArena. This is the main reason I stayed away from the A32 5G.

Only the 4G/LTE models of the A32 uses Super AMOLED 1080p.

My wife doesn't need 5G as she is seldom out, nor does she need a powerful SoC as she doesn't play games. But she will notice the 1080p Super AMOLED display.

Thanks for the info bro, I was right to think that you lifted the correct specs from a more reliable source, the Samsung site itself.

Olats pala sya sa Realme 8 5g which is going in sale tonight, most probably 11k, same specs but with amoled screen. But then a Samsung is a Samsung and Realme sounds like the clown senator..

Samsung retains some prestige, kahit paano.

Any Huawei users here without Google? Napansin niyo ba na matipid sa battery since wala google services running sa background? Just traded my Mate 20 pro sa p40 pro and added 5k. Laki ng difference sa batt life ng non google na Huawei phone.

Why is my screen like this? My Note 9 isn't even 3 yrs old yet. I want to use it for at least 5 years

It's like the colors are bleeding

Yes pero sa mababa lang, pinapatong ko kasi siya sa wooden chest about 1 foot high, minsan nahuhulog. Minsan ata nadadaganan ko rin when I sleep hehe

    traumatized screen.
it may repair itself, but that is unlikely.
    replace the screen?
some colleagues who suffered it, balked at the cost, and opted to buy a new phone.
a colleague got lucky. nakahanap siya ng exactsame model with a defect-not-the-screen. she had it katay-ed.

OLED screens behave like that when subjected to stress. Just hope that it doesn't progressively get bigger.

Several years ago, my son's J7 Pro started with a discoloration near the bottom-right corner which then progressed to the whole screen in a matter of days.

A day or two later, the screen was all black. The phone was a write-off.

I also had a J7 2016. Before I dropped it somewhat 2-3 foot high due to frustration in some matter. That was a long time ago. The screen well stood up for almost 5 years of use today never had this issue. Only screen cracks.

My son is a little "balasubas" with his gadgets. I guess it goes with the teens territory.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro (2017-19) - As mentioned above, broke the screen and is now a paperweight
Samsung Galaxy A30 (2019-21) - Broke the USB charging port last year. I bought a replacement charging board from Shopee and replaced it myself. The phone is still working to this day
OnePlus Nord CE 5G (2021) - His current phone

He's had other phones before these but they were hand-me-downs from me (ie. Samsung Galaxy S, Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia Z3).

I can see that he's more careful with the OnePlus. Maybe nag-mature na rin.

Get a good tempered glass and or phone case with high front lips as the nord CE isn't gorilla glass.
