With many people facing the pink-slip, buying a new phone will the least of their priorities...

Apple's 'worst-case scenario' could mean that 2020 is the first year without a major iPhone launch since 2007, analyst says | Business Insider

In a worst-case scenario, Apple could delay the launch of the iPhone 12, expected to be its first 5G iPhone, until the middle of its 2021 fiscal year, meaning the company would miss the all-important holiday season. In this situation, Apple would launch its rumored low-cost iPhone in the June or July timeframe instead of the spring, as reports had initially indicated.

Buying a Huawei just doesn't make sense right now. The price and the lack of google ecosystem is just too big of a disadvantage. The Xiaomi's and the Oppo's are better options.

Is this the year of the great camera upgrade for the iPhone? Pixel, great photos mediocre videos. Hope they can improve this in the Pixel 5.

IMO, iPhone 11 has the best video capability on a phone...

    Samsung S/Note is #2 (video)

Pixel is still the best for still photos.

Pixel's image processing is still the king
Huawei's night mode is imo the best

I think Apple's sticking with the 12MP camera lol. I"m not sure how that will be improved.

My Samsung s10+ has a crack, otherwise the unit is working. Anyone was able to replace just the glass red rather than the whole LCD assembly?

You have to change both. Costs about half the price of a new phone so might as well just get a new phone.

Have tried replacing the glass/LCD before with my Note 5. Waste of money. Nasira rin after since replacement LCDs arent as good. So might as well just change the phone.

Yes the original parts of Samsung smartphones are quite expensive. If you opt for replacement ones, many features will be problematic in the long run.

    "that's a one-piece item."
your best bet, is if you stumble across a same-model cellphone whose defect is anything but the screen, and cannibalize the screen.
that is, if the price is right.

S20 series is a fail lol. Its got a 10% discount already lol.

And to cap it off the note20 is already drawing flak lol.

Huawei is pushing the competition though. Which is a good thing...
