Exynos 9810 issue explained in the article below.

Improving The Exynos 981 Galaxy S9: Part 1

Exynos was superior to its Snapdragon counterpart before. Too bad Samsung botched 9810

there is always sort of compromise. you can't have it all ika nga. maybe soon, we can have a phone that can last days on a single charge and still, we wish for more. kung gaano kabilis magpalit ng modelo ang mga manufacturers, ganun din kabilis ang consumers na mag-adapt at magpalit ng gamit.

Advances in battery will surely achieve that.

Even the recently announced Exynos offers 10% better power efficiency than its predecessor, vs Snapdragon 855 with a healthy 30-40% better power efficiency than SD845, mas efficient pa lalo yung Kirin 980, I think the cores perform a little bit better than the new Exynos but only consume half the power.

Medyo curious lang ako sa 8K video recording nila, though obviously it would be limited sa memory at thermal throttle.

One downside lang sa Poco is its software, hindi siya kasing optimized vs more expensive SD845 devices according to GSMArena's review. Still, it's the fastest phone u can get for around 14-18K.

MIT has actually found a way to double the battery capacity. I think further safety checks na lang kulang. To prevent a Note 7 fiasco. Also yung charging cycle issue pa din.

don't believe the hype. there's a battery "breakthrough" every few days if you believe the news. phones should be running for weeks if you believe all that cr*p

truth is battery technology is improving very slowly

agree. manufacturer's seems to be more interested in aesthetics, form over function thing. like adding more camera lenses than improve the UI, battery capacity and screen longevity.

Pansin ko lang, mas nahhype kasi ng tech sites yung Super VOOC, Huawei SuperCharge, OnePlus Dash Charge, etc vs. Sony Battery Care, Qnovo Adaptive Charging, etc.

Most users focus on how fast their devices charge, di nila alam lalong bumababa naman lifespan ng batteries nila.

Sony's XZ2 with a rather large power hungry LCD and tiny 3180 mAh battery lasts longer than most 2018 flagships with 7-9 hour continuous SOT. With properly sorted and optimized software, a bigger battery isn't really necessary.
