18 months pala warranty ng oneplus 5t. I wonder kung LG will also apply the 2 years warranty on their v30 here in the Philippines. Longer warranty might be one of the factors I might consider on my next upgrade.

As far as I know, Android phones, in general, does not resort to CPU throttling based on battery health. Some may have chipset-dependent throttling for safety purposes, like when it's overheating.... which I know Intel is also doing on all of their CPUs for decades.

Most Android phones would have a manual toggle to enable battery save features. It effectively slows down the CPU, lower the display brightness, disable certain network connections, and so on. More importantly, these require user intervention and the battery save mode can be disabled even if you're down to the last 5%.

I never find this a big deal. Obviously a 4 year old phone would struggle to run a recent software. Tska batteries wear out naman talaga, especially if you drain it regularly.

The Xperia Z5's Snapdragon 810 was also throttled down in Android 6.0 due to overheating, but performance significantly improved sa 7.0.

Yan siguro ang downside ng longer update cycle, my old iPhone 4 is almost unusable sa iOS 7, pang call/text na lang talaga.

naka sony rin workmate ko before. he fell inlove with samsung though. he bought s8 and s8+..

I also prefer Xperia's UI over Samsung. Mas gusto ko lang overall experience, close to stock Android. Though maganda din naman extra features ng Samsung Experience UI. Nilalaro ko S8 ng HS friend ko kanina, medyo overwhelming.

Samsung dropped the SRP of the Note FE to 27k. Sellers in OLX are still selling at 28-30k, in line with the old SRP of 32k. [emoji23]
