Yung nakakatakot sa mga China phones are the alledged factory installed trojan apps that send personal data to a secret server...
https://blog.gdatasoftware.com/blog/...h-spyware.html
This makes it possible to retrieve personal data, intercept calls and online banking data, read emails and text messages or control the camera and microphone remotely. The affected model "N9500" is produced by the Chinese manufacturer Star and looks very similar to a smartphone from a well-known manufacturer. It is not possible to remove the manipulated app and the spyware since they are integrated into the firmware.
The smartphone represents a serious risk to users. The spy program enables criminals to secretly install apps, which enables the whole spectrum of abuse: localisation, interception & recording, purchases, banking fraud such as theft of mobile TANs, and sending of premium SMSs.
It is impossible to find out where the data is sent. "The intercepted data is sent to an anonymous server in China," says Christian Geschkat. "It is not possible to find out who ends up receiving and using the data."

Lenovo launches the S90 “Sisley”, a blatant copy of Apple’s iPhone 6
By Jimmy Westenberg November 5, 2014
It isn’t often that we see a huge device manufacturer rip off a competitor. Sure, we’ve seen iPhone copies in the past, but this one comes from the third largest handset maker in the world, Lenovo. Today, the company released the Lenovo S90 “Sisley”, a 5-inch phone with a Super AMOLED 720p screen, a thickness of only 6.9mm, and an incredible amount of inspiration from the most recent flagship by Apple.
Mag-Mi4 or Meizu MX4 ka na ang. Kasi at least may service center sa Pinas if ever magkaproblem within 1 yr.
Meizu MX4 vs Xiaomi Mi 4 - Phone specs comparison
For similar specs, both phones are more expensive than the OnePlus One and they do not have native Cyanogenmod support.
Oneplus One stocks are limited if you're in US. It only costs 14T+ at Lazada.
Samsung attacks Galaxy S6 Edge bend-and-break tests - BBC
Samsung is playing down a report that its new flagship phone - the Galaxy S6 Edge - is "just as bendable" as Apple's iPhone 6 Plus and breaks completely at a lower pressure point.
The allegations have been made by a company that sells smartphone protection plans.
Samsung said that the results "may mislead consumers" and called on the firm to carry out a revised test. One independent expert agreed with Samsung that consumers should not be concerned about the durability of the S6 Edge, but added there was a lesson to be learned.
"This is only a story because it made fun of Apple when it launched the iPhone," said Francisco Jeronimo, research director at the consultancy IDC."I think that's the biggest lesson for Samsung: next time if it sees a competitor having a problem, it needs to be a lot more careful unless it is 100% sure it would not face the same criticism."
