    Thanks for the Fonestyle lead.

I got a Platinum G6 for 29,990. And because I had to wait while they pick it up from their warehouse, they offered me 6 freebies; 2x Bluetooth ear-sets, a mini Bluetooth speaker, a power bank, and a car kit. The phone case is still pending as they ran out of stocks.

In the meantime, I bought a cheap PU case to protect the phone. It's a gift for my wife.

I sold almost all of my old gadgets to raise up the 24k so I only have to pay the 5k.... (iPad 1 and 2, Lenovo tab and phone, Asus Zenfone 5 and a Disney Mobile I got free with a plan).

Finger lickin' good huawei. I wonder if you get free chicken every Friday. Parang free CBTL ng Samsung.
    Now there's a KFC-branded Huawei smartphone | Android Central

I considered the P10 vs G6, and the latter won in almost all respects, at least in my book. Design, screen size/aspect ratio/rounded corners, audio, camera, and the fact that it's made in Korea.... everything I can imagine my wife would want in a phone. It also has a screen aspect ratio very close to the S8/S8+ which is a definite good move by LG. The only thing missing is an OLED display and it can pretty much emulate what the S8 can do.

The P10 on the other hand seems to employ a rather dated design. It's not a point of ridicule by any means, but it's something we considered because we plan to hold on to the smartphone for at least a couple of years or so.

The P10 is 95% rehash of the P9, good move on your part choosing the G6 imho.

Do you really need it to be a phone? Ayaw mo ng wifi only na tablet? Since pang home lang sya.

Some of the cheap phones who have big screens
    Samsung a9 pro, 5000mah, 6"
    Oppo f3 plus, 6" 4000mah
    Samsung c9 pro, 6" 4000mah 6gb
    Lenovo phab 2 6.4" 4000mah
    Asus zenfone 3 ultra 6.8" 4600mah

    Between those phones, I would pick c9 pro. 4000mah, 6", 64gb internal, 6gb ram.

Ok sana yung zenfone 3 ultra 6.8" 4600mah,4gb ram, 64gb mem. Wag mo lang babagsak kahit may flipcover pa yan, sa laki ng screen pag na bagsak basag.

    get a powerbank.
it's the cheaper and more practical solution to your narrated problem.

    unless!
you are just looking for an excuse...

Use it at home but I occassionally bring a second phone along talaga. Tablets aren't appealing to me since I can't pocket them. Looking at the 6" range since I can still hold it with one hand.

    in that case...
you might want to see the cloudfone line.
    they're cheap, and rather well-built.
i had a cloudfone smart phone once. it functioned as advertised. and the price was right.

Not sure if you're familiar with MichaelRivo, pero alam ko authorized overseas distributor siya ng Xiaomi, pwede niya ipadala sa China units for claiming warranty afaik. Sa kanya ako nakabili ng mi Piston earphones and WiFi extender sa bahay.

Also, check out Xperia XA1 Ultra, edge to edge side bezels so narrow siya for a 6 inch phone, plus it easily gets 10h+ screen on time even with just 2700 mAh battery and FHD screen kasi well optimized ang software. 🙂

Around 22K SRP sir, pero makukuha mo siya ng mas mababa sa ibang authorized distributors.

Medyo pricey for the specs pero IMO ok lang, mas importante sakin software experience. ☺

Lol, HTC is on its way down. And they're milking their customers anyway they can. Even if it means they will lose more customers because of it.

HTC's TouchPal Keyboard has started to show ads to users

TouchPal, which wrote the TouchPal keyboard app is a 3rd-party app developer that HTC partnered with to provide keyboard and word prediction features. The recent app update which introduced the ads was done by TouchPal, not necessarily by HTC. In fact, the news in the link suggests that HTC was even unaware of this change. The terms of their partnership is not really public knowledge so we don't know if the app changes done by TouchPal went through a vetting process at HTC or not.

So I'd give HTC the benefit of the doubt here until more information becomes available.
