Samsung working on 3GB 'buttonless' smartphone

Samsung Electronics is working on a "buttonless" smartphone that may have a whopping three gigabytes of internal memory, an enthusiast site reported.
Citing a source, fan site SamMobile said the huge amount of random access memory may hint at powerful software in the upcoming device.
"The question remains, why would you need 3GB of RAM when 1GB of RAM should be enough? Samsung ... continues working on improving their software and it could be that they have been working on a feature were you actually need such amount of RAM," it said.
It also said the Korea-based tech giant is doing some tests to make a "transition" to go buttonless.
Photos posted on the site indicated two buttonless devices with "3Gb RAM" stickers on them.
"As you can see this ... device is in early prototype stage but we believe that this is just a sneak pe(e)k of what we will see in 2013 from Samsung," it said.
A separate article on tech site Mashable said it was unclear if the device could be the Samsung Galaxy S IV or the next Galaxy Nexus.
"However, it’s still not clear what the purpose of that huge amount of memory is; don’t get us wrong, the more RAM the better, but with Android in its current stage even 1GB is more than enough (and the SGSIII as well as the SGNII are just now getting 2GB as standard)," it said. — TJD, GMA NewsLast edited by Monseratto; October 12th, 2012 at 04:13 PM.

There's a new report that says for the first time in 11 years, sales of personal computers worldwide will decline this year.
The forecast is being issued by the research firm IHS iSuppli and it projects that there will be nearly 349-million PCs shipped this year. While that seems like a lot, it represents a one-percent decline from the nearly 353-million shipped last year. That's a small drop. But even so, it's the first time PC sales haven't grown since 2001.
Insiders blame the drop on the growing popularity of smartphones and tablet computers.

Kakabili ko lang kasi ng htc one s noong 1st week ng October. Minsan kasi nakakaranas ako ng "heating problem" na ito.
Nakakaranas ako tuwing:
Nakakatagal na ako sa isang app. (Asphalt)
Matagal na pagbrowse sa internet
habang nagchacharge (pero usual naman to)
Nakakaranas din ako sa sony xperia sola ko nito. Naninibago lang kasi ako since galing ako sa nokia (N series tapos yung Xpress Music) tuwing nagchacharge lang ako nakakaranas nito.
