Just send WIS <friend/relative's name> <mobile number>. But prior to that your "friend/relative's" must grant you permission to locate them. Tell them to do this, send WI AUT <NightRock> <MSISDN> <password> to 288.

ano kaya lalabas na location ko pag WIS nila ako anyone can help?? pwede nyo ba ko trace para lang malaman ko kung anong location ko if yung roaming network din ang lalabas sa inyo...

No. Sya ang unang-una makakaalam kung ilo-locate or nilo-locate mo sya dahil in the first place sya ang nag-authorized sayo gawin yon. Gets mo ba Sir? Unless you did something oh his/her fone without his/her knowledge.
Kapag ikaw ang nag-add sa kanya to locate you.... meaning sya lang ang makakapag-locate sayo hindi ikaw ang makakapag-locate sa kanya. In other words, you granted that person to locate you. :bwahaha:

yon na nga ang nasa isip ko I can't locate thje person right now until mahawakan ko ang phone nya hehehehe which is not possible right now.. so pag nag karon ako ng chance hopefully next month.. activate ko WIS nya then add ko name ko sa list nya tama po ba??

No. Nobody can locate you using Person Finder Service if you're roaming abroad.

Just send WIS ON to 288, wait for the confirmation and you got the service right away.

maiba ako.. di ba merong Vehicle locator service ang SMART na hindi dependent sa GSM network nila..yung GPS-based (Global Positioning Sattelitte) kaya mas accurate yung location... eto yung write up nila.
buhay pa ba to? medyo mahal nga lang ito kasi meron pa silang iniinstall na tracking device sa kotse mo. suitable only for truckers and for those who move important or valuable cargo using vehicles.
Yes. You can still avail this service as your altenative way to track your vehicle. However, the car has to be equipped with a GPS transponder, though, you have to set it up in your car before you can track it down.

SMART Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS) is a breakthrough vehicle tracking system. It uses the combined Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM technologies. SMART joins hands with Asian Navigation and Tracking System (ANTS), Inc. in offering the AVLS service.
Initially, SMART AVLS will only be offered to SMART Gold subscribers. However, queries via text can be made using both SMART Gold and SMART Buddy subscriptions.

AVLS NOTES
The NAVIANT terminal is almost always connected. AVLS is triggered or activated once the ignition system is switched on.
If the mobile phone user who is making a query keeps on getting the same location info this means.
That the latest info is the last known location of the vehicle.
Also means that either the vehicles ignition system has been switched off or the vehicle has stopped/has been stalled on that location for quite some time.
Any mobile user who knows the information required (ie., keyword, password, rover sent to 211) can make a NAVIANT enabled vehicle location query via SMS.
AVLS customer has the option of assigning his/her own password to maintain utmost confidentiality. He/She will have to forward this password directly to ANTS.
Information from the RADIANT may also be accessed from ANTS website but such arrangement is already between ANTS and AVLS customer.
