Automatic Vehicle Location System

SMART Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS) is a breakthrough vehicle tracking system. It uses the combined Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM technologies. SMART joins hands with Asian Navigation and Tracking System (ANTS), Inc. in offering the AVLS service.

Initially, SMART AVLS will only be offered to SMART Gold subscribers. However, queries via text can be made using both SMART Gold and SMART Buddy subscriptions.

One time fee for basic NAVIANT or Intelligent NAVIANT
One time fee for Installation/Reinstallation/De-installation
Monthly Service Fee for RADIANT at P 650/vehicle
Monthly Service Fee of P 600/line (VAT inclusive)
SMS Report fee in excess of allocation: P 1.00/SMS Report
SMS Query sent to 211 is at P 2.00/query

Type Key Word TRACK followed by Rover ID and the Password and send to 21
Sample Syntax:

AVLS NOTES


The NAVIANT terminal is almost always connected. AVLS is triggered or activated once the ignition system is switched on.
If the mobile phone user who is making a query keeps on getting the same location info this means.
That the latest info is the last known location of the vehicle.
Also means that either the vehicles ignition system has been switched off or the vehicle has stopped/has been stalled on that location for quite some time.
Any mobile user who knows the information required (ie., keyword, password, rover sent to 211) can make a NAVIANT enabled vehicle location query via SMS.
AVLS customer has the option of assigning his/her own password to maintain utmost confidentiality. He/She will have to forward this password directly to ANTS.
Information from the RADIANT may also be accessed from ANTS website but such arrangement is already between ANTS and AVLS customer.
