SmartBRO is SmartWiFi rebranded. it offers speed of upto 384kbps.
i'm a smartwifi subscriber, wala naman akong major problem na naencounter. there were times na nawawalan ng connection, siguro average mga once a month since lumipat ako sa smartwifi from pldt mydsl. sustained naman yung speed (>300kbps), sometimes umaabot pa ng >400kbps when downloading.
pero there were some subscribers of smartwifi that have complaints about disconnections and slow speeds. kaya kung may balak kang magpakabit, you might want to ask around the neighborhood na subscribers din ng smartwifi kung kumusta ang connection nila.

since good yung feedback niyo ill just confirm my subscription maybe
I have smart wifi here sa cinco hermanos marikina and sa farm namin sa Forest Hills area (Inarawan, Antipolo). Malaki na improvement sa service. Bihira na ma off-line.
diba nag mass resignation yung mga senior officers ng Meridian a few months back.Originally Posted by ian_rex

My aunt has this SmartBro (Smart WiFi) and her connection is rubbish. pag na-disconnect DAYS walang internet. The tech support are useless. I guess its area dependent.
Or try Globelines Broadband:
http://www.globelines.com.ph/FAQCategory.php?id=1#FAQ_7Do I need a Globelines phone to subscribe to Globelines Broadband?
No. As long as you are in a Globelines service area and a Globelines Broadband facility is available, you can be connected with the Globelines Broadband Data Only Package.
The speed is brilliant, at least here in Cavite. I get >500kbps, when 384kbps is advertised.
musta na sir!Originally Posted by chieffy

just to add to delprado's question, ano po requirements in terms of paperwork to subscribe to them?
di ko na matiis dial-up and sadly, tagal ko na kinukulit bayantel, wala pa raw free slots sa amin for DSL (visayas ave/t.sora area).
P999 or P998 ang monthly, tapos meron P1000 installation fee.
ID and proof of billing lang yata ang requirement, plus the application form and payment.

they will survey your area first pala after submitting your application form before accepting your payment. if your area is within the coverage area, they will send you a text message with a reference number which you will use when paying for the installation fee and 1st monthly fee.
