I didn't read the IRR, pero in cases like yours, I would assume na ok na yan, kasi that would be like in my case where I have multiple sims (private, public and extra old numbers I like to keep), lahat sila i-register ko sa name ko. This assuming na a person is not restricted to a single sim registration, iiyak ang telcos nito hehe.

Unahin na nila mga prepaid, dahil postpaid meron naman na records mga telco.

Parang redundant for postpaid itong registration.

same with corporate vehicles, i suppose.
register it under the corporation's name.

but why the monetary penalty for non-compliance?
simply de-activating such sim cards should be adequate penalty. wala pang red tape.

Under the IRR sims can be registered under a corporation's name. Just need the company's certificate of registration and resolution designating authorized representative.

Wala namang monetary penalty for the end-user for non-registration of sim. Deactivation lang.

For minors, ang mag register daw na name is yung parents or the legal guardian.

It's so ridiculous if they require that for postpaid

What for? Anyway, it's too risky. Stiff fines and possible jail time awaits you if you're somehow caught falsifying information. Not worth the possible hassle.

I read somewhere that postpaid accounts may not need to be verified again due to the fact that you've already been vetted. However, if you provided inaccurate/outdated information then, it may be in your best interest to rectify it now rather than later.

That much is clear. But unless I'm missing your point, why are you suggesting something akin to criminal activity to bypass SIM registration?

Nothing is ever bulletproof. But if it means making it a little harder for them to scam other people, it's a positive step forward.

Organized crime may be unfazed but the regular Juan-gagancho and kiddie-scammer will likely think twice.

I think the registration page will ask you to have a camera shot of yourself similar to popular online shopping.
