Oh my, parehas pala tayo. Last week inayos ref namin but according to my wife. Nagpawis ulit after 2-3 days.
Pinacheck ulit sa gumawa last Wednesday at walang nakitang problem. Refrigerant pressure is ok, no more leaks.
Malamig pa rin til today so observe lang muna kami.

when we had our ref's freon re-filled,
it took a few days of unsavory, on-and-off performance, until it hit its stride. during that period, we thought the ref was still defecting.
apparently, the freon has to settle down by gravity first, before we can turn it on. "wait for a day", daw, before turning it on.

You do know that the compressor is running when refrigerant is added, right? There's no wait time necessary after refilling it with refrigerant or system reprocessing.

The only time you should not power it up immediately is when the refrigerator was transported or stored on its side. Generally, it needs a minimum of 3-4 hours upright (or as long as possible) before operating it. This is to allow time for the lubricant to settle back and drain down into the compressor. With the oil still in the cooling lines and you operate it, the ref won't be nearly as cold.

    it's a good explanation.
but alas, i can only express my experience.
no amount of argument can alter that experience.
perhaps another explanation is in the wanting?

Ako I know, that we have to rest the ref after transport, new or old, but what I was also told was masisira sya if you don't, so what really happens pala if you don't do it is that it will simply not cool properly until the oil has settled. Which is why people think siguro na nasira na.

the instruction about the waiting part is in the owner's manuals.
hindi kasi tayo (me included) nagbabasa ng manual, when we buy new appliances.
that was why, when i bought a new ref some years ago, i initially thought it was busted when it wasn't still cooling after several hours of running since delivery.

It happened again. Freezer is cold but ref isn't working. Its only been 3 months since they repaired it. Now I don't know if I should have it repaired again.

Kapag nasira ang Ref huwag na parepair.. Itapon na agad at palitan ng bago.. Lalong-lalo na kapag Samsung..

    strike two na yan.
    go buy a new ref!

sell your defective ref for a song.
that way, you won't have to pay someone to get rid of it for you.

I am not sure who would buy a non-working ref? No more Panasonic for me. I am disappointed, it's only 9 yrs old Samsung if off the list as well. I guess LG then?

I have to decide na lang whether top or bottom. Our Panasonic is bottom, mahirap mag First in First Out. Pero parang maliit space ng top. Pag side by side hindi fit sa space [emoji24]
