Yeah. In Europe and Australia its PAL tapos sa US iba din, tapos yung Japan and Asia has the same region... Actually the Xbox 360 sells better than the PS3 in all regions except Japan where its a flop. Pero the US is the biggest market for videogames so MS is still #1 over Sony in this genertaion of consoles.

It means the Blu Ray disc player is locked to Region B (green on the map above) ... it cannot play Blu Ray discs encoded for Regions A and C. So if you're going to buy Blu Ray discs for that particular PS3, make sure they're Region B, or region-free (which most of them are).

    PC naman siya talaga.

Besides the XMB operating system, you can also install Linux.

I've tried a few wireless keyboards and they worked. Same thing with webcams, pen drives and external HDD's (as long as it's FAT32).

I borrowed Blueray CD from a friend and I was able to play it in my PS3.

Can I copy this movie on my PS3 HDD?

If yes how to do it?

Of course not. If you can do it then it tantamount's to piracy, of course Sony won't allow their systems to rip movies of a disc and store it in your HDD.

I connected my PS3 on the internet and open an account but it dont include Philippines so I used Hongkong. I have downloaded some Demo games and when tried to purchase it I have to load the account first, unfortunately they need a credit card that has a HKG billing address.

Now how do you guys buy games on the Playstation store?

if you have a relative or friend who will allow you to use their account for this purpose, that is a one way of doing it. normally, the relative or friend (who resides in a place where playstation store have on-line dealings) maintains a separate debit card account solely for this purpose and funded by you...

    hope this helps...

Too bad wala akong relatives sa HKG

Any other way to do it? wala bang taong sa kanya ka mag babayad in peso the he can arrange to load your account? of course with some mark up? Europe kasi yung nabili kong PS3 region B kaya hirap mag hanap ng games.

nag tanong na pala ako sa GH. modify ng xbox would amount to 2,500. a US version xbox could only read open region or US region pirata games only. it would not read asian games.

eto naman tanong ko.... ano bang region ng games lumalabas ngayon? like nba2k9, RE5, etc...

Why would you want to modify your xbox? don't you know that aside from getting banned in Xbox Live you risk of bricking your console? Yes brick! Hindi na magboboot. It will turn on but it won't boot.

Well modifying allows you to play cheap downloaded games. Over time lets say if you buy 8 original games bawi mo na cost ng Xbox so maskin ma brick nabawi na din cost of the console bawi ka na. Pero I agree, iba parin ang nakakapaglaro online so I say stay original. Pero kung la kang pakialam sa online gaming them modifying is ok in my book.

sakaling iyong nagpamodify naka bili ng game na nang bibrick ng console at bago pa lang ang console nya eh di hindi pa rin sulit.

anyway it's the user's choice if he's going to modify it or not. I strongly suggest not to harhar. forget about live, just think of the risk of bricking your console.

    Up ko lang po.........

    - How about the graphics quality, ano mas ok sa 2?
    - Kahit po ba "pirated" na CD sa XBox, ok pa rin yung graphics quality?
    - Power consumption between the 2, sino mas matipid?

    TIA sa mga magri-reply.

Graphics? Depende some games for the 360 is better than PS3 some in the PS3 is better. On paper the PS3 has better graphics than 360 pero syempre nasa developer na yun if they can push the PS3's GPU cause I know its much easier to develop games for the 360.

Pirated has nothing to do with quality since digital naman yan eh. Just like a pirated game you downloaded from the Internet no difference in quality as opposed to buying legit at Datablitz.

Power consumption mas matipid ng konti ang 360.

I wanted to get one because of (and exclusively for) the Gran Turismo but dang! there are only a handful of tracks - 4 or 5 lang ata and that includes the much predictable Suzuka Circuit

    I miss Gran Turismo.

I'm leaning towards the Jasper on the 360 so that I can get that Forza 3 from playasia.com.

Retail GT5 will have over 20+ tracks. you may be referring to the Prologue version. pero kung di makatiis sa racing itch kuha ka na ng Forza 3. http://www.insidesimracing.tv/ gave it a weighted score of 100 .
