New lock in ba kapag imigrate from dsl to fibr? By Q1 next year kasi magmove out na ko sa family NCR home. Ako nalang kasi nakatira dito and lilipat na ko to my own condo (hirap magmaintain ng bahay kapag magisa lol )

Why naman would you move out of your home e di wala ka ng garden hehehe. Where's your family ba? Yung maintenance since your parents own the home hindi ba sila bayad?

Pero ang gusto ko sa condo yung view. That's the only pro I see in condo living

^From Bulacan talaga family namin so doon sila nakatira. My siblings are not residing na sa NCR home namin. Sa ngayon condo living na muna gusto ko since wala pa ko own family and malapit sa future workplace ko so walking distance nalang.

Sulit na magfibr ngayon unlike noon na 20-30 Mbps lang ang below 2k fibr plan ni pldt. Yung 16xx na dsl plan namin is currently 20-25 Mbps lang which used to be just 15Mbps.

Im currently at 35MBPS 1899 plan.
I am being offered to upgrade to 100MBPS for additional P100 a month so 1999.

Not sure if sulit ba, enough na kasi para sa akin 35mbps.
Pero nagtaka lang ako lately, mas mabilis pa 5G ko compare sa Wifi ko.

If that's the same offer I got then it's actually pay additional 100 pesos monthly to get upgraded from 35Mbps to 50Mbps.

Then there is a speed boost of up to 100Mbps until Dec 31 only.

Yan din offer nila sa akin, but kahapon na mail lang nag offer into 100MBPS, until Dec 31 yung offer.
Baka yan din ioffer sayo, since 100MBPS plan is 2099 na.
Kaya hindi ko inaccept 50MBPS offer for P100+ kasi parang di sulit.
Probably will accept this offer nalang since plan kong mag install ng TP-Link Deco para ma extend Wifi signal sa buong bahay.
I heard kasi magdegrade speed dun sa di maabot ng Wifi but at least if magdegrade, somwhere around 50MBPS pa rin if naka 100MBPS na ako.

May mas bago pa pala pero baka hindi i-offer sa akin dahil 25MBps lang ang plan ko.

i am in the exact same situation, 35mbps for 1899. pldt forcing me to go 50mbps with the extra but i know for a fact that 1699 is already 50mbps. pass ako dito, will wait for the contract to end and then go down to the basic 1699 since ok na yun. remember, once you touch your plan, another 3yr contract na naman. speedboost ni pldt parati namang nandiyan so why pay more? providers also need to adjust regularly (improve services) to catch up with the market.

I started *1899 25mbps - upgrade to 2099 50mbps tapos binigyan pa ako WiFi Mesh.. Steady na ako dito sa speed na ito pero they are giving me more..

I've been having intermittent issues since yesterday... maybe even as early as Christmas day. Packets get dropped once it leaves PLDT's network.

Is this for real?!! I called PLDT very mad because in my latest bill I saw that they upgraded my plan to P1599 Fibr. I'm happy with my DSL but PLDT kept on bugging me to convert to Fibr with constant calls and home visits. They promised me that my monthly bill will stay the same. Last month I did not have internet AND phone for a week so I requested for a bill adjustment. Lo and behold, when I read the latest bill the internet portion went from P891 to P1599 per month! That's a P708 or 79% increase!!! Almost double na! Malalagot ako sa Mommy ko nyan

CSR told me that ours was a legacy plan at tinatanggal na and P1599 is the lowest! How about people that are on a tight budget? Anyway, the CSR said moving forward my new monthly bill is supposed to P1739 na lang which is LOWER than what we used to pay for monthly. The CSR said before the landline and internet were billed separately, but now it's bundle. In my current statement it's P2900 (after adjustments P800)

If our bill next month is P1700, then I definitely made the right choice staying with PLDT. Abangan.

I went to pldt today and requested for the deactivation of my decade old telpad plan(500p Monthly) , never used the da*n thing even its features.
Csr said "dapat sir nuon nyo pa Pina deactivate kase covered naman ito nung current asenso plan nyo". What the...walang malasakit eh

For any changes in the MSF, we were required by PLDT to send an authorization letter detailing our request for the plan adjustment. Things may have changed lately and you can probably do the same entirely over the phone.

Ask family members kung may tumawag na PLDT at nag-offer. Baka na sales-talk sila into agreeing on the change of plan.
