On plan 2899, I was getting 200 down and 400 up yesterday. I checked a few minutes ago and my speed is now 500mbps both ways.

Plan 1499. On paper, it's 25 Mbps with free speed boost of up to 75 Mbps until June 30, 2021.
Apparently, somebody forgot to turn the cap back on because I'm getting 300 Mbps down and 200 Mbps up. Or was there another extension to PLDT's free speed boosts that I don't know about?
This could probably go higher if our modem/router supported higher speeds...
any reviews on the streamtech internet plans? hirap sa camella walang iba makapasok na service provider unless with the canopy or wireless plan.

I guess PLDT has plenty of bandwidth to throw around. For better or for worse, practically everyone is getting more than their contracted speed.
Ang kulit ng PLDT, punta ng punta sa bahay namin for upgrade to fiber e ayoko pa ngaWhy do they want to upgrade everyone to fiber ba?
That's competition for you! Naglabas converge ng upgraded plans nila then sumunod PLDT.

This was my situation before.
I do suggest to accept the offer while hindi pa puno yung fibr box installed near sa area nyo.
Because the copper wire will eventually degrade which will cause frequent disconnections (every 20 mins).
Reported the issue to PLDT and they said the problem is the copper line itself.
I can't wait that long to let them repair the copper line or whatever system is causing this.
I am the last one na nakabitan ng Fibr and my neighbor needs to wait if may new fibr silang iinstall sa area namin. Tiis muna sila while waiting for PLDT or competitor provider to install fibr box in our area.
Yikes! I should have accepted the offer na pala. Kasi yung bahay namin decorated na for Christmas. Ang daming kailangan tanggalin kasi nakatago sa likod ng cabinet at mesa yung box for phone and internet. Medyo tempting offer kasi they won't change our number and they won't increase our bill too.

I have streamtech. Mahirap yung umpisa since we had to call their CSR para mag email sa amin ng bills monthly. Although consistent naman yung amount monthly and I can pay without seeing the bill, gusto ko pa rin makita yung bill in case may magbago.
They have a new number now for connection problems although pag punta ng technician eh 3 to 5 days daw, unlike our globe lines na nagsasabi kung may darating na tech bukas, sa streamtech wala, so you need someone at the house for that 5 days.
Napansin ko mas mataas na speed nung current plan ko for new customers, yun nga lang for new customers. Unlike globe na malalaman mo na lang tumaas na speed mo nag a adjust sila.
Better po iaccept if mag offer na.
Dahil the last slot ng fibr box might be the unreliable slot.
Yung DSL line namin, hindi lang pala ako ang may complaint, pati na din kapitbahay namin connected on an old DSL line. Na didisconnect din connection nila every 20 mins (more or less).

New lock in ba kapag imigrate from dsl to fibr? By Q1 next year kasi magmove out na ko sa family NCR home. Ako nalang kasi nakatira dito and lilipat na ko to my own condo (hirap magmaintain ng bahay kapag magisa lol )
