Their customer service call is not good talaga actually.

Kapag before due date magbayad magugulat ka na lang may free speed boost ka or even special price if you upgrade. Yung plan 2399 binigay sa kin ng 2099 - pwede na. Magkano in a yr yung na less-pang shopee din[emoji16]

DNS resolves to it but ping and traceroute fails.
Just tried this, I'm able to access naman.

Just this morning internet went out but the landline was still working. Called PLDT tech support and after 4 hours ok na.

I think it's worth it to have a cheaper spare back up connection from another provider specially if data signal in your area is spotty.

Nasa in-laws ako sa Batangas and this is their pldt fiber speed. Ganito ba talaga fiber? Or maybe because hindi populated ang lugar kaya konti ang user? My father in law said he is paying 1300 a month for this.

Buti pa sila dito sa Batangas may fiber na, sa min sa Cavite DSL pa rin ang pldt. screenshot_2021-05-29-16-37-35-803_org.zwanoo.android.speedtest.jpg

I wonder why PLDT can't resolve this issue in Cavite. Saw this * TipidPC

PLDT DSL kami dati at napuputol pag midnight. Parang nagrereset sa end nila.
Nung dumating ang fiber ng pldt, converge and globe dito, marami pa rin nag-pldt fiber at icheck kung may line pa available.
Since globe platinum wife ko, we went for Globe and life has never been easier. After makabitan, may tumatawag pa sa kanya besides her personal concierge if satisfied daw sya sa connection.
We get 80 instead of 50Mbps din. Baka konti rin Globe subscribers kaya hindi congested sa area namin.
Point is, try to know from neighbors their feedback sa fiber nila. May connection congestion sa certain locations.
    Wag lang DITO. Hehe

No brand loyalty. Every ISP has their own strong and weak areas. In my place of residence, PLDT Fibr is king.

However, at my office in Makati, it's Converge (corporate plan).

In the grand scheme of things, it's just ISP lottery.... swertehan lang.

I agree about the speed and reliability. Swertihan Kung maganda line sa area mo. Nagkakatalo na lang yan sa customer support.

Nung pinaputol namin pldt del before pandemic, need daw pumunta sa store and guess what, 1 tao lang su buong store ng pldt edsa shang! As in 1 person lang sya sa buong store since nagquit na lahat at hindi pinalitan. Sya ang recep, customer service rep, cashier and automatic manager ng buong pldt shang store!
That’s the time bawal na subcontractors ng pldt.
Kaya customer service is king talaga

I disagree. In the Cavite case, the ISP should be able to resolve the evening latency. wala naman kasi problem sa client side. di nila kaya troubleshooting ng network bottlenecks?

Downtime around 1am with blinking LOS on the ONU. Nakalimutan ko may text pala PLDT about a network upgrade between 1-5am. Signal went back after 30min. And eto na bago speed on existing 2899 plan. Was getting around 150-160 before.

Anyone who has an existing 1899 PLDT Fibr Plan na nag downgrade or upgrade ng plan? Dami ko na natanggap na email from PLDT na mag upgrade to 2099 monthly with 50 Mbps pero satified naman na ako sa current speed ng internet ko kaya di ko nalang pinapansin yung mga email nila.

Pero after checking their website, yung plan 1899 with 30 Mbps dati e mas mura na ngayon. Pwede ko makuha yung 35 Mbps na speed by paying 1699 a month.

    Mine was 30mbps / 1,899 before (VDSL)

Nag early termination ako due to recurring downtimes.

Sa 1 year nung account ko meron monthly downtime lasting 3-4 days. No permanent fix can be done since awaiting for migration to full fiber yung area namin.

What can they do is repair pag nasira yung line ko aside doon talagang waiting game muna talaga.

Kudos to PLDT madali naman mag report ng concern kaso ayun nga paulit ulit yung issues and now heavily dependent kami sa internet due to WFH setup / Netflix [emoji23]

Inggit ako sa inlaws ko they got the same plan, the difference is full fiber naman yung sa kanila. Grabe speedboost doon and never pa ata sila nagkaron ng downtime.

Just glad PLDT approved my request for not paying the pre-termination fee. If mag available yung full fiber sa area namin will consider going back with them.

Thank you to bro EQ lagi ko siya naiistorbo. [emoji16]
