Not good. The targetting crosshair would not be centered. It would be offset to the side of the monitor. That's why 3 monitors is best for shooter games.Originally Posted by Lucius

The only real advantage of triple monitor in shooter games is your enemy (in multiplayer) can see you sooner and take a shot at you while you're still swivelling around. The human eye is geared for symmetry.
Our server master has triple monitors for gaming and has the pc to handle it. Well, he owns a DIY pc store. His newest pc has dual Xeon quadcores, 8gb ram, and dual GTX 295's*. He also has three 22" monitors (NEC I think).
Dual GTX 295 = 4-way SLI. Just one of those videocards costs almost as much as my whole pc.
