Im currently using a Compaq M2215 which I got for a promo price of just Php45,000.00 sa Filinvest-alabang. Im very satisfied with it, okey ang keyboards tama lang ang size. Maski yung bilis, just right for office work and home stuff. And best of all, madali maka kuha ng driver updates sa website ng HP-COMPAQ.

kapitan & boeing747; mas maganda siguro si nico na lang wait nyo. di ko rin alam bakit iwas nya ako dun. 1st choice ko talaga is the toshiba but for the price i am getting sa acer/asus e core duo lang yung toshiba. parang di bang for a buck. yung compaq ni boybi ok din kaso i am planning to upgrade to 1 Gb mem and sa acer "stock" na for that model.
OT: kimps; wag mo ko tawaging "koya". para sa "taipan" lang nating kaibigan yun. "kuya" na lang.

one thing i like about the HP is the quick play...kahit hindi na mag boot when watching dvd...

dedided will get this one coz of 0 intersest in 12 mos(P5,491.67/mo) and within our budget and core 2 duo na, 1Gb mem, 256Mb vram. plus 120Gb hdisk pa . medyo madedestino kasi ako sa medyo liblib na lugar. di ko pa sure kung may 3G signal for net surfing(btw, this is a project site so no office). any comments on the unit. bang for a buck na ba?

Sir I only have the equivalent travelmate model of your Aspire... TravelMate 3273WxMi... the Travelmate has additional Freebies in lieu of the Free 1Gb memory upgrade... Only concern ko lang sir sa both Acer models e walang Firewire which I prefer using for DV....

And also consider sir that Travelmates have additional Hard Disk Shock Protection while retaining a traditional TFT screen... The Aspires have no additional HDD Protection but has the CrystalBrite screen (or Glare or Glossy for some Laptops)... So may trade off... only Acer Ferraris both have those features....

Based on the price list, I would recommend the NEC Versa E6200 series for the OS and complete connectivity... Lenovo Core 2 Duo model for the OS and Fingerprint reader.... And the Asus Laptops for the Performance of the ATI / Geforce graphics card...

based on experience sa Toshiba ko sir check the bios dapat On ang DVD play... ewan ko kung parehas sa Compaq yan...

niwde11: i hope you haven't gotten it yet. the laptop's good...pero magsisisi ka with the video card. intel integrated graphics cards are t3h underpoweredness. :lol: if you can spare the extra moolah, try to look for the one that has a separate video card. you'll never know when you'll need the extra graphics power. the intel graphics kasi borrow their memory from the system memory, so with that 1GB system memory, at full blast, the intel graphics will borrow 128MB from the system, leaving just 872MB free for the system.

usong725; specs nyan from pccorner; although di sya available sa zero intersest in 12 mos. sa accent micro/complink/electroworld, available sa installment pero 512Mb lang memoru(upgradeable naman eh). mas mahal sa pccorner(maybe coz 1gb mem).

nugundam93; while wala na ko extra moolah(actually less than 5k/mos lang budget ko) meron ka ba recommend na hiwalay ang video card. i thought hiwalay na video card neto dahil NVIDIA na sya. baka eto na rin kunin ko dahil eto lang available for my budget at this time. unless me lumabas na bago promo pag bumili na ko(hopefully before the 20th of feb). how about upgrading to more than 1Gb of memory? less than 3thou lang naman yung 512MB mem upgrade(so around 7+thou).

its already Nvidia 7xxx Series... Its a discreet graphics card with dedicated 128Mb and additional support for another 128Mb memory from the system RAM making it 256Mb.

sa mga Compaq/HP user na laptop di nyo na ba na experience na lumuwag mga screws ng laptop nyo sa cover sa ilalim ,,na experience ko kasi ng buhatin ko unit ko may nahulog na screw .wala naman ibang gamit sa table kundi ang laptop kaya alam ko doon lang galing itong screw

ng check ko lahat ng hole .may isa nga natanggal ikinabit ko na lang uli ,tapos double check ko uli lahat ng screw lahat sila maluluwag ,kaya hinigpitan ko na lang lahat .pero sa performance wala naman nagyari ..
overuse kaya ba lumuwag ang mga screws .halos kasi walang patayan ang laptop ko
