Ang dami ngayong sale rito,- buy a 42" and get one 32" free,- more on the LED-backlit units....

yung Samsung 37" LED Series 5 (120hz, 1080, can read hard disk for movies) eh kaya daw ibigay nang Php32,000.00 w/ free DVD player (worth 3T din)..

I bought our 37" LG LCD last Aug and I was quoted only P26k - home delivered pa

My wife in Canada bought our 47" Samsung Series 5 LCD for only $700cad which is roughly 35K inclusive of shipping.

LCD TV price is now cheaper beacause of the emergence of LED TV in the market. A 65" Sony LED 3D TV would still cost around Php200K++

ended up buying the 32" Sony(KDL32CX520) because of its internet capabilty (wifi ready) + lan port =$AU550 = 23k pesos

the toshiba 42" led backlit($AU499=P20k) was a good buy dahil cheaper sya dun sa sony ng $50..but naisip ko kung
bibili lang ako ng 40" and above..gusto ko yung LED3D Smaret TV na then 55"+,,

was actually eyeing Samsung T27A950 27in 120Hz 3D Widescreen..pero pricy considering you can get a larger sized monitor sa price nya..kasi ginagamit ko din as my PC monitor..

tama yan, may recommended distance talaga depende sa laki nung tv. recently got 2 flat screens, a 51" samsung plasma and a 37" LG LCD. mas maganda talaga yung plasma, especially pag HD, but better yung LCD pag low-res (DVD) IMO. i personally think that SMART TVs are pretty useless when you start to set up your home entertainment system.

with the price of a smart tv, bumili ka na lang ng regular plasma/LCD (basta 1080p HD ready), get a mac mini + ps3 and hindi ka na aalis ng bahay

    ^correct

Very noticeable ang difference ng LCD vs LED kapag Full HD / Bluray movie pinapanood mo. More contrast and more punch in the picture quality and lamang talaga ng LED. Now, if you're gonna feed your LED TV ng analog signals lang like cable TV or plan to play more DVDs, sayang lang LED TV mo.

For the price, mag Plasma or LCD na full HD ka na lang. Then buy PS3

eto yung dream bang-for-the buck setup ko for my living room:

Samsung 51" Plasma -- Bought already for 40k
    Mac Mini 30k
    Wireless keyboard + trackpad 7k
    Haman kardon soundbar surround 30k
    PS3 15k

    Total: 122k

still a much better deal than getting a 200k+ smart TV. Wala nga lang 3D, but in reality, how many movies are you going to watch in 3D anyway?

Personally I don't think 3D tv's are worth the money right now. Bababa pa prices nyan when it becomes more mainstream.

And downloading HD ******* files takes too long. Maybe the next 2 years would result in much more choices.
