try looking for Acer laptops... medyo cheap sila compared sa iba.. pero tanungin mo engineers ng mga laptops higher ends, di na rin sila nagkakalayo sa quality. But if you got the budget... I'd say go for Lenovo

February 27th, 2008 11:58 AM #26If you choose a used branded laptop - make sure its reputation speaks for itself. re: Dell vs Apple. Apple is a more reliable brand (based on consumerreports.org). However, it is really contentious as to how the previous owner has devoted care on the machine. Don't buy from a stranger and make sure it has sufficient warranty just in case something happens.
