I was also thinking about this set-up, pero klangan mo yata ng trained calibrator that will analyze and correct acoustic imperfections in your home. Baka nga kasi magreflect yung sound sa floor. So probably klangan angled yung installation ng speakers mo on the ceiling to avoid resonance and unwanted noise. But what do I know. I cant even decide on what tv to buy.

The new amps right now has auto calibration setup which is pretty impressive btw or you can have an SPL meter.

Hens kapag ikaw ang magse setup, bagay sa yo eh Denon 5805 (10.1 na yun) or Yamaha Z9 or Onkyo 5000....hehehehe

tapos yung speakers mo eh yung Beryllium series na sinlaki halos ng aparador....yan sigurado solb ka dyan, pati kapitbahay mo eh pwedeng makipakinig sayo while at the comfort of their own living room....hehehehehe

I have in-ceiling set up. Most of the speakers, their tweeters swivle, and some are already angled certain degrees. This way you could aim them to your listening position. One speaker I looked at are Speakercraft, the whole speaker is swivable. But they are very pricey. I settled with the 8" Pinnacle for the front and 6" Infinity sa surround. It took me a while to adjust them to sound great but it is all worth it. I thought of getting the Bose in-celing dahil they really sound great at higher frequencies, but they lack the deep bass. Use the right cables though [ie, Dig Coax or optical for the DVD to receiver, and a good quality subwoofer cable. Then use the component video cables for your TV for best picture quality.

i would be probably have my rear speakers via IN_WALL, nakahanap ako ng beam na tamang tamang sa sofa ko...

masarap talaga mag layout ng mga speakers habang nasa rough-ins pa lang ang construction ng house.

Patulong naman, baka may alam kayong Philips Service Center o mahusay gumawa ng tv sa bandang south. Nasira yung TV namin, nagkaroon ng spark dun sa may plug at deadset na ngayon. Pinaestimate namin at tumataginting na 17k babayaran. Philips 29" Pixel plus yung TV.

im no expert! heller?! hehe.. mejo familiar lang ako... hay nako even if u get an extended warr plan baka makunsume ka lang... kasi usually pag talagang topaken yung natapat sayo, every 6 months mo kailangan ireplace yung lamp...

How about the plasma tv from sony, do you get any complaints from that? But I do like Widescreen LCDs better since they last longer(higher view hour rating)and doesnt consume as much electricity as plasmas.

ang ganda niyan 603 S3 yung light color ba ang kukunin mo?

eto update sa House/HT, naki pag coordinate na ako sa architect ko at alam na niya kung saan ko gusto ilagay ang HT ko, siya na ang bahala sa designs kung incorporate niya sa walls ang speakers or kung ano, pero as of now i'll be selling my rear floorstanders dahil mag bookshelves ako sa rear at isasabit ko wall pera malinis at maaliwalas

i will be builiding a audio setup para sa living room then naka inceiling speakers sa lanai/dining

binabaklak ko rin ang rock speakers (yung pang outdoor na disguise na rock yung speakers pero hindi pa final yun.
