what does progressive scan means? para saan ito at ano nagagawa nito. thanks!

Progressive Scanning: Each frame of a video image is scanned complete, from top to bottom, not interlaced. For example, 480p means that each image frame is made of 480 horizontal lines drawn vertically. Computer images are all progressively scanned. Requires more bandwidth (twice as much vertical information) and a faster horizontal scan frequency than interlaced images of the same resolution.

wow! ganda at saka ang linaw! pero ang sabi dapat ang TV may progressive scan din. Is this true? at saka not all model have this feature.

Sensya sa mga tanong..newbie po sa mga ganitong bagay.

yup dapat may progressive scan din ang TV, medyo hindi pa mainstream dito ngayon yun. but you can try connecting them sa component input (Y, Pr, PB) although this will not guarantee prog scan.

common sa atin ay ang S-video, ako nga hanggang ngayon composite connection lang ako eh pero pewde na.

Di ba dapat walang hindrance dun sa may speakers? The sofa may act as a sound proofing. Tama ba o mali yung nasa isip ko?

dapat yung sofa nakaharap sa TV for an optimum listening point.

pero ok naman ang position niya kasi mataas naman ang speakers.

binili po namin un nang walang alam sa home theater...ehrherherh...kaya ano po ba ang negative side niyang tatak na yan?

ung sofa po...may isang sofa na nakaharap sa tv..tinggal ko lang para makunan ng picture..herhehrehr

ok na ok ang mordaunt short, lalo na yung declaration 9 series nila, i myself want a mordaunt short 904 floorstanders,

yung nabili ninyo at HT package, timber match lahat yan pati yung receiver.

afaik, kenwood receivers are warm tapos ms speakers are bright and punchy, so they met halfway,

active ba yan sub na yan?

alisin mo na yung po glennfafa, bata pa ako,
sound signal lang naman ang galing sa receiver fafa,
from the disc, decode ng decoder sa receiver then pasa sa sub,
the sub will amplify it.

ok yan nabili ninyo upgradable kung gusto mo ng full range speakers just replace the fronts (MS 902, 904, 906, 908 etc etc)
ganda ng mga ito very musical speakers, check out its site, nandyan rin yata yung Ht package mo

OK yang mordaunt short speaker, yan pa rin gamit ko hanggang nagyon hehehe .Tagal ko ng nabili '98 pa yata pero mga older models (ms20i,ms25,msci).Bright sounding nga siya, ganda kasi ng review sa What HiFi magazine noon.

Which one sounds better.

Check out reviews on the net for the models you're considering. Personally, happy ako sa wharfs ko ngayon. Pero tingin ko kanya-kanyang preference yan e. I suggest you audition both setups and let your ears decide. HTH
