Agree on we'll still be customers anyway. I'm happy to be rewarded for my loyalty though honestly I'll put up with any cr*p from Globe because I don't wanna change my number.

See post above, total savings is much higher than whatever Globe would be willing to reward me.

For the Globe rewards, I am not obliged to spend more than what I normally consume. In my case, it's really a freebie. Just like uls said, with or without the rewards, I will still be a subscriber of Globe.

I use the rewards points to pay part of my monthly bill. But this time, pang shopping because of the double points.

The rewards are really free naman talaga. They also don't require you to spend more, just like SM Advantage points wherein your actual purchase is enough to get you a fraction of a whole point so you don't need to chase after a minimum spend amount.

My point is that there are better ways to get even more out from Globe, just by being updated with their current offerrings. I appreciate the free points that I got, but it's nothing compared to the savings by changing plans on a regular basis.

Hindi naman din nagbago number ko sa Globe ever since I went on postpaid, so no loss. I get to keep my number, I get whatever token reward they want to give, and I get to optimize my phone bill spending by always getting the best value plan that fits my usage requirements.

I just changed my plan too. I was convinced by the posts here to get data. I used to be time based kasi so from P2000-P2500 a month, I am down to P800-1000

I never availed phones from Globe din. I just get the rebates. I change my phone minimum of 5 years so I just buy my phone in cash.

So my smart postpaid get deactivated yesterday. Since it's in my wife's name sya nagpunta sa smart moa. Smart informed her that SHE REQUESTED DEACTIVATION yesterday Nov 6 sa smart shangri-la. She's no where near that place on that date.

My wife asked what was the reason "she" requested deactivation. Too many lines daw. Which is true kasi 4 lines nya. 2 para sa min, 2 para sa anak. But all of it are being payed on time. Right now its under investigation at di basta ma reactivate kagad number ko. Which will be a hassle since connected ang number ko sa 2 steps verification ng google.

My worry is, the fact that someone can request deactivation other than my wife in her account. What's stopping that someone from getting a new contract on her name with phone? I know may ganitong modus, how can we be sure na hindi kami ma biktima ng ganito?

The telcos will require some personal information before they act on a request such as plan termination or modification. It has to be someone close enough to know the details.

Smart called and said it was a typographical error on their part. My number was mistakenly deactivated.

Typo tapos disconnect agad? Di ba sila liable for compensating your hassle?

Smart will replace the ₱5/15 minutes data charging to ₱2/1mb. So kung may excess kang 1gb, nasa ₱2k na yan. Although they have put a cap of ₱2,500.
