It will be fast for the first few months ... Then it goes downhill from there ...
^Because of cap limit? That's why i retained my old 2MB uncapped plan i can download all day and plug 2 NVRs thats being konstantly remotely monitored. Agent keeps on offering me 5MB 20Gig cap package in exchange, i refused. Ako nalang yata natitira naka terminate dunsa box and they need to migrate/upgrade the network.
Mamahal ng plan nyo. Ako tv cable 120 channels plus 3mbps internet , worth 900+ cheap Lang. Kahit 3 pa nag YouTube walang lag, unlinet pa. 1 1/2 year ko na gamit. Isang beses Lang tumirik sunday pa nun, tawagan ko technician sunday after 2 hours nasa bahay na agad pinalitan modem.

CATV pala. They just re-sell internet from major telcos usually some STM1/DS3. Ok yan sa una, kapag dumami na subscriber at no proper bw management optimization sakal na rin.
^ buong Laguna halos ito Ang gamit so far ok pa naman super duper accurate, kapag bumagal hanap nalang ulit ng bago, pero tingin ko malabo mangyari Yun ngayon palang marami na subscriber.
Globe at smart mga corrupt Yan 10 years ko gamit Yan dati taas baba bibigay sayong net nyan di accurate. Minimum then maximum sabay 0 net. Kaya palaging lag, tawagan mo technician, call center sasagot sayo, intay ka sa wala

Pero tama ka, habang maliit palang OK pa ang serbisyo. Habang lumalaki matindi ang politika sa loob at labas kaya degraded quality, depende rin minsan sa location.
Sa mga reklamo naman, di mawawala yun, Ang tanong Kung gaano karami, Tama depende din sa area , pero dito sa area ko so far super ok net mura pa [emoji3577][emoji41][emoji106]

I was wondering where Royal gets their internet. Problema sa Royal, they don't have free call access for troubleshoot, like the 211 of Globe. Para kang may hidden charges due to cost of call para sa complaint pa lang. pano kung recurring pa ang problem.
Ganyan nangyari sa Sky in Laguna, super praise ako for the 1st 2 years,after that bumagal na at daming problema, congested na siguro, buti na lang out of contract period na ako.
Usually redundant dual-telco or triple telco yan CATV for backup just like any data centers of banks/casinos, not unless nagtipid.
Sky used to be with the lopezes and maintains own backbone shared with its telco. After selling ICC/Bayan to Globe, sky was left independent but acquired some small players like Interisland/Tri-isys, Mozcom they and they are now competing again. Just like IPConverge/Comclark they used to order internet from these major Telcos then started ordering direct link to gateway providers from independent landing stations. PT&T is another operator with own backbone. Philcom doesnot have own backbone and operates just within Henry Sys building. Eastern/Vega used to roll-out fiber optic in Laguna area but not sure what happened after buyout and if they cater residential subscribers.

Seriously, ako din badtrip sa customer service ng mga ito kka biset dapat mahaba pasensya. Puro call centers at subcontractors na kasi pinasa kaya yung complaint mo prang sa hindi nagiisip na makina dumadaan, imbes na maayos na patagalan sila..
