    Hi Tsikoters,
I am facing a problem with globe right now and I need your advice.
Last Saturday, Nov 6, I applied for Gflex plan 2500 and it was approved Monday and I was able to get the SIM package Tuesday morning. I was told that the activation time will take 24 to 48 hours. Its been 3 days and still the SIM is not yet activated. I tried to contact those people from Globe SM Marilao and I did not get a good answer.
To those people who have applied for a plan from globe, how long did it took before you have your SIM cards activated?

    Thanks,

    Simple lang yan..

Turn of the unit off and turn it on.

Pag ayaw pa rin, repeat the process after 20 to 30 minutes.

Keep trying... but if you don't get service within the week, go straight to SM Megamall and complain.

It doesn't really depend on where you go. My first activation took a week (yeeeeeeaaaaaars ago), my first reactivation 24 hours (after I lapsed on a bill), and the last one (disconnected for two months... no budget to pay... marriage preparations... ) took me SIX MONTHS. Went to five different centers, called customer service a dozen times... and then I gave up. I only received notice when they billed me the other month. Had to deactivate my line again, get a new SIM (threw the old one away out of frustration... after four months of waiting)... and THIS time, it only took them 48 hours.

It really depends. It doesn't matter what center you go to, you just have to get in contact with the right department at the main office... sometimes they're great, sometimes they're just crap... good thing for them I'm a loyal customer.

    Guys,
Thanks for your answers. I am working for a telecom company( not local) so I know how this activation works. Its a very simple procedure.
I think I made the wrong choice. I thought they can provide me a good service because last time, before I went to the US, I have a globe subscription and their service back then (2001) is very good. Maybe its just this branch in SM Marilao.
The one thing that frustrates me more is the fact that they do not know what they are doing. Whenever you ask them, di nila alam. Grabe talaga, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin. Dapat siguro nag SUN Cellular or SMART na lang ako.

    Thanks again!!!

just applied for a globe line yesterday. mga 5:30pm na ako nakaalis sa business center. within 5 hrs, activated na yung line. sa lahat ng lines ko with globe, they never took more than 24 hrs to get activated. nasa CS lang na humawak sa application nyo ang problema. kung mabilis sila kumilos, mabilis din ang activation. if i remembered correctly, kahit weekends, na-activate yung isang line ko dati.

    Sir Boybi,
It is possible that people from Globe SM Marilao has the problem. What I suspect is that they passed a wrong information to their engineering team. Or they failed to process the paper on time.
I am getting frustrated, until now di pa rin sya activated. The problem is, I will be out of the country this coming Sunday and I will be out for two weeks, I was hoping that I will get the roaming also. Isasauli ko na lang siguro tong SIM.

Go to Megamall nga... they have a technical staff behind the counters... you should be able to get better service.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
