yup! eto din duda ko. which makes it more hard to accept. you just dont know who really your friends are. the person who did this knows me well but i cant just name names unless i have a proof. i have suspects na on who did it but still, they are suspects. hirap na talaga panahon ngayon. di mo na alam kung kanino ka magtitiwala.

Nakaka-trauma na pala ngayon ang Friendster. Used to have an account there also, pero inactive na siguro, kasi more than 2 years na akong hindi nakaka-log on. I couldn't care less if it was hacked.

i did not close my friendster account for future evidence purposes (to retain the pictures and captions that were written) but i deleted all friends, personal information and changed the name.

i also have a new email account.

i tried to report to friendster but there was no action. i've told my friends and relatives to "report user" pero ala talagang nangyari. i don't have a proof that im the original user because the email account that was linked to that account was also hacked.

with regards to writing the DSL company, i don't think they will mind my letter because of the privacy issue nga. i really think the ip that was used is from an internet cafe..but since teritorial naman ang mga internet cafes, at least i can deduce kung sinong friend ko ang pumupunta sa cafe na yun or i can ask them if they're going to that cafe IF malalaman ko kung anong internet cafe yun. is it ok to post the IP address here? hindi ba against sa rules ng tsikot yun?

i was thinking of making a new friendster account also just to inform everybody that during that period of time, i was not the one using my frndster acct and explain everything kaya lang nawalan na ako ng gana. my friends are encouraging me to sign up again or sign up sa iba like multiply,etc.. pero nawalan talaga ako ng gana sa ganyang mga sites.

im trying to forget it, but the effect to me and my family are great. di na pumupunta friends ko sa bahay, and nawalan din ng gana family ko sa friends ko because they're thinking its my friends who did that and they're generalizing it. unfair to my other friends. i tried to explained to them pero nandun na yung doubt nila sa tao..

ang hirap nga nyan pag gumawa ka ng bago friendster. parang good cop bad cop account. baka lalo pa nila isipin na may split personality ka kasi nga hindi naman ata random yun mga messages/testimonials, related talaga sa'yo

pano ba na-hack. naiwan mo naka-open sa i-cafe o sa office o sa bahay mo mismo na may bumisita friend?

+1 sa post ni badsekktor, plus kung tapos na kyo gumamit sa icafe, i reboot nyo ung PC, madalas maraming keylogger ang mga icafe PCs, hopefully may deep freeze ang icafe na pinuntahan nyo

it was intentional..or not at first i think. duda ko joke lang sa umpisa but then sineryoso nya later on. and nung makita nya na super affected na ako, natakot siguro kaya the person tried to put the blame to others by changing the login email to my friend's..

if i really cant find out who did it..may that person rest in peace.sana lang nakakarest nga sya in peace knowing that ang daming naapektohan sa ginawa.

i am moving on.. kaya lang di maiwasan talaga minsan na mainis and malungkot sa nangyari.

im sure that i didnt left it open sa internet cafe. i always make sure to log out bago umalis. and isa pa, ako nagbabantay sa i-cafe eh

Are you sure that the browser didn't save a copy of your password? ... Firefox can do this.

this is what i am referring. some web browsers have the capability of saving usernames and passwords para hindi redundunt kapag mag-fill up ka ng web forms. delete mo yun cookies saka clear mo history. useless ang pagrestart ng pc kasi naka-save yan sa cache. i've been studying cases na na-hack daw email nila and friendster acct pero wala ata ako nabalitaan na attack sa yahoo saka friendster so most probably yun acct lang ang na-hack. this is usually accomplished kapag nakuha ng iba ang user saka password ng account holder. medyo impossible na kasi kung yahoo or friendster na ang na-hack nya to get your account.

hmm kaninong email ba ipinalit sa friendster account mo? as i recall you need to activate the account again kapag nagpalit ka ng email mo sa friendster. if that is the case, sya a primary suspect mo (yun may-ari ng email na pinalit)
