50k+ lang din naman M1 Macbook Air today. Considering inflation, Macbooks are priced roughly the same as they were in 2012.

Much faster. It beats my 2018 Macbook Pro 15” in almost all tests except gpu-related ones.

And it’s completely silent while doing it since there is no fan at all.

The entry-level Air now has the same processor as the current MBP, which is head and shoulders above last year's MBP 13. Only difference is cooling, which is not felt except in the most CPU-intensive applications.

Best time to buy a Macbook is now or next year (as the new model with upgraded display, more ports will come later this year).

Yes. Any Apple store (iStudio, Beyond the Box, PowerMac, etc) would have it by now.

Entry level Air (8GB, 256GB SSD) starts at 55k. More than enough for most people, faster than most Windows laptops at that price point (M1 just blows Intel out of the water).

An M1 Macbook (Air or Pro) with 16GB and 1TB SSD will last a good 5-8 years just like the 2012 Macbook Pro. Later this year, they'll launch an all-new 14" Macbook Pro (will replace the 13" but keep the same size, will have thinner bezels). They'll also put the M1 (or will it be called M2) chips on the bigger 16" MBP.

Early part last year ka bumili bro diba? Medyo long wait din kasi mga Dec/Jan na nagkastable availability.

Personally, no need to update yet since my 2018 MBP still works fine, but baka next year paglabas ng 14" MBP with the new body matempt ako hehe.

This is my setup in d office (normally am in 1 mtg on the ipad air and working on files on the laptop). I want to replace the msi gs65 stealth and just leave it at home. Its very powerful but i need more battery life and even more portability.

These m1 baaed macs look really tempting. Time to go to the dark side!!!!!

The M1 Macs will give you that battery life and portability. Get the 13" Pro (better battery life than Air). If not in a hurry, 14" Pro should come later this year.

iPhone 13 may not use the notch design and Face ID feature -

The latest speculations are that the iPhone 13 will be Apple’s first full-screen phone. From the images so far, there is no notch, waterdrop, or punch-hole on the display. Although it is beautiful to behold, it doesn’t seem like reality. It is not clear which way the iPhone 13 will hide the front camera, earpiece, and a series of sensors.

According to MauriQHD, the iPhone 13 without the notch will have the same bezel thickness on all four sides. The new generation of iPhone is expected to introduce under-screen fingerprint recognition, using Qualcomm’s latest ultra-thin fingerprint recognition sensor. This technology was first exposed and released during CES 2021, and it may debut in iPhone 13.

More news is that the iPhone 13 will be equipped with the LTPO screen provided by Samsung, which means that the screen refresh rate is expected to get rid of the traditional 60Hz and directly move to 120Hz.

You'll need to convert the audio to a file the shuffle can understand.

Crazy time consuming and it's a waste of time
How to Sync Spotify Music to iPod Shuffle? | Sidify

I suggest, you buy a cheap phone to use for spotify
    or
just install spotify on your phone

Hassle ng transfer from Android to Apple. These companies really make it difficult for you to switch ecosystems, while at the same time making it easy to switch within the same ecosystem. Can’t blame them, ganun talaga to earn more.

    just to add...

Apple to Apple -> super convenient

(Nexus or) Pixel to Pixel/Samsung to Samsung -> so far ok

Pixel to Samsung -> based on experience, not straight forward. Kailangan mo mag-log-in ulit sa ibang apps.

Yup, upgraded from iPad to iPad Pro last month, super hassle free, in 30 min everything was done pati apps.

Same din Samsung to Samsung. Seamless transition. My wife will get my Note 10 so her upgrade from her S9 will be smooth.

Now sa Android to iPhone I have to download my apps one by one pa.

Yup that’s what I used nga. Halos wala naman natransfer lol. Messages lang as in texts.

I redownloaded everything pa rin. Viber bulok doesn’t allow cross-platform transfers so none of my Viber messages from my old phone got transferred.
