So far I just have standard TV sets at home. I feel LCD/Plasma tvs are still expensive even if they have come down in price the last couple of years.

We have still 1. A Magnavox (Philips) 32" LCD tv.
CRT tv's.... we have 3. No pressing need yet to replace them.
Add: Make that 4 CRT tv's. I forgot to add the one in the den.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; September 26th, 2007 at 09:30 AM.

Maybe this December we'll have a big LCD screen to watch at home... a Samsung or Sony brand maybe.

Is an LCD/flat screen TV a recommendable rather than the projector type? Kase sabi sa akin nga ng isang insider sa Sony na hindi raw ganun katagal ang tinatagal ng buhay nung LCD TV or siguro depende na lang rin sa gamit ng may-ari?
Kami naman sa bahay we have a 43inch TV in our theater and maganda pa rin naman ang performance. Its a Toshiba HD series na more than 9 years na and still working! Pati yung home theater system na sinet-up ko noon, maganda pa rin kaya I don't see the need of getting a new one. Besides nakaka inis kase ang bilis magpalit ng mga models! Kabibili mo lang ng ilang daan libo tapos me bagong mas maganda nanaman! (hehehehe) Dami kasing competition lately!
But I heard that Samsung is better than Sony? Tama ba yun? Lalu na yung bagong labas na LCD nila? Korea is catching up ba?
