I had our office connection downgraded na lang to ~30Mbps since Converge techs couldn't fix and get us our full 100Mbps.
I checked the modem diagnostics myself and SNR was pretty bad, as was SNR margin. Pumayag naman even though we are still technically under contract.
How bad? An OTDR machine would effectively measure the exact distance of losses like splicing loss, kinks, bends, attenuation fading along the optical line. A -35dB on a power meter is considered LOS.
Sumabog daw transformer? wala bang UPS o battery rectifier at backup genset? Saan ba yang server na yan, sa Pasig ba? Baka nagkatotoo yung galit ni lola kaya sumabog![]()

Seriously if I owned a business I would find another service na. That disruption could have caused the business a lot of money. Honestly kahit sa employee nakaka bad shot yan. Ilan months din kami naka 100% WFH at yung mga unstable ang connection kahit di nila kasalanan may effect yan. May instances may push back ang work and that is a major NO NO

Buti na lang may redundancy kami sa office or else patay negosyo. Two years ago nag down din Converge line sa office pero wala kami notice narinig from them. Ang hirap din ma contact yung Customer Service nila kasi wala sumasagot kaya I contacted their sales team. One week bago nila restore yung service.
