Btw, try this story:

Si Tita **** sits on a bench in Central Park. Katabi nya big African-American. Say nya sa sarili nya (in our own Pinoy way) "Ano ba ito, mukhang unggoy." Comes another guy. He says to the one sitting, " Wazzup dawg?" Sitting guy says, "Ito mukhang unggoy." ehehehe true story po iyon. Tita ng friend ko, hiyang hiya sya.

What the... I looked to my friend and I remembered about the Newport sign. So I explained to her that i wasn't her picture that was taken but the sign... but she cut me off and said... "NO! I SAW HIM! AND YOU BETTER ERASE THAT PICTURE!" My nerve just went off but still calm so I took the camera and had it set to the said picture, and showed it to her and said... "Here take a look." After she looked she said, "Okay, you better be careful next time", and speed off.

My golly is she guilty of something or just plain pathethic. She does not even look like a goverment official to blurt out "my city". She went way overboard. Too bad that I didn't catch her plate number because I was already furious of the situation. We missed our exit because of that and that's also harassment technically.

Moral lesson: Take pictures cautiously and be mindful to others.

Then this blonde passed by infront of us while we're taking pictures. nung nakalampas na sya nakita na lang nya e nagflash yung camera. bumalik sya and told us to erase the photo and not take her picture without her consent. buti na lang mabait ako at sabi ko I'd rather take a picture of my *$$crack than waste a film on you. she walked off and said nothing after that
some pips just assume that you're taking their pics kahit na hindi .

Hmmm. Looking through my photo archives, I have a bunch of photos with female passerbys almost dead center of what I was taking a picture off. Yet, not a single one accosted me and told me to erase that picture. If I didn't know any better, they were doing it on purpose. Weird.......

Edit: Hmmm. Maybe it's just the blondes who are total B******.....

Here's one of the tamer ones. I cropped and blurred to protect the innocent......

What's strange is that there's a lot more room to my left then to my right. Yet, they still chose to go to my right and get in the way. The lady in blue had time to cover her cleavage (low-cut blouse) and still pass in front of me.

Idaho State is at Pocatello. Never been there. Good thing. i've been to Boise and got as far as Twin Falls. I didn't see any outward signs of hostility to me when having conversation with the locals.

The place to avoid though was Coeur d' Alene at the Idaho panhandle. Since 1974, the Aryan nation was based there. Luckily, they got kicked out of there. Thing is, now, they're in Florida.

Skinheads are everywhere, even in California. Just watch yourself and your surroundings plus watch who you talk to. They're especially active in alpine areas (where it snows) like Lake Tahoe, Reno, Colorado.... I haven't been accosted by them yet probably because I sound like a local and dress ed like an Indian most of the time. They seem to leave Indians alone but harass every other minority.....

Edit: I re-read your post. You meant the state of Idaho, not Idaho State (University). Sorry for the error......

The lady in the white blouse? She looked back and smiled at me when I apologized. The lady in blue had a face of curiosity and was looking directly at me. But she was way, way far from being pissed off. But, I still have a sense of ethics. So, no faces.

I have more with women in bikinis at Lake Tahoe. I'm trying to take a picture of the lake. But, they just kept walking in front of me. There's more in a museum, some older shots from Key West.... Not one ever told me to erase them. But, it's still a good idea to be careful where you point the camera.

But seriously, usually polite mga americans a (any color po), they don't just cross in front of someone pointing a camera. Of course, I never been down South or the Midwest, so Coastal lang po experience ko.

OT: Stayed there over night, ala akong nakitang "entity". I even left my camcorder recording the room the whole night, maybe in the pool where a child drowned in the 30's.

Yes there are skinheads in Reno. Their latest victims was a man killed and another wounded while praying in a mosque.

Onie's right. That Stars and Bars sends the wrong message. If racists gets wind of that Stars and Bars here, on a PINOY site, they can start hacking and trying to wreck this website.....

Edit: Racists and their symbols are not to be trifled with. I've tangled with them twice in my lifetime. It took the show of armed force to extricate myself from a bad situation. This is a deadly serious matter.....

If you have any doubts that racists are a deadly serious matter, just read about that recent news about a former female postal worker(who was racist) in California who went on a shooting spree and killed 5 men, all minorities and one of them is a Filipino...

Edit: Actually, my wife says they're all minorities (the dead postal workers), plus one ex-neighbor who was white.
