We have a side by side GE in the kitchen:

We also have a fullsize Whirlpool fridge (freezer on top) and a Whirpool chest freezer in the garage. Just noticed they're in the background of my sig...
Whirlpools seem pretty durable although ours are lackluster and devoid of any special features. The GE is fine too. But, the water filter require changing every year and the icemaker tend to fill up too fast and jam the chute.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; March 13th, 2007 at 01:23 PM.

March 13th, 2007 05:19 PM #42look for the new generation refs ng fisher & paykel, frigidaire, etc, although mas mahal compared to the previous gen no-frosts mas matipid na. 1/4 ang claim nilang electrical consumption kumpara sa mga luma because hindi na every few hours ang defrosting kundi as needed na lang.

Eto inputs ko mga pards.. When buying a ref eto computation para malaman ang consumption.
X watts / 1000 * 5php * number of hours = consumption of an electric appliance in Pesos per X number of hours.
So mapa no frost or may frost do the math kung acceptable sa iyo iyong babayaran mo pagdating ng electric bill.

bro rollan pare Napasyalan mo na ba Western Mktg. Warehouse sa T. Morato SFDM?
Mura dun, What I do is canvass muna ko ng model sa malalaking appliance center

up ko lang...
kailagan narin namin bumili ng bagong fridge.... hinde na lumalamig yun baba since laging full load yun freezer kapag nag grocery kami....ito naman problema ko ano mas maganda and cost effective in the long run...
a) buy 1 big fridge 10 cu ft or more
b) buy 1 smaller fridge and 1 ice chest
I'm looking at panasonic...yun ice chest ano bang magandang brand..?
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
