S.O.P. ba talaga sa mga appliance stores na kapag bumili ka ng unit nila, you have to avail of their Warranty? Lagi kasi ganun. Like for example, yung tag price, say P15,000. Tapos pag bibilihin mo na, sabihin nung salesperson, additional P1000-1500 daw for 1 year or 3 years warranty from their Store. tapos pag chi-neck mo yung warranty coverage, meron palang manufacturer's warranty na yung unit, at yung warranty ng store will not cover anything that is already covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Parang rip off yung ginagawa ng stores imho. :praning:

bro... every unit comes already with a manufacturer's warranty.

AFAIK - warranty extension lang ang i-offer dapat nila (say from 1 year to 3 years).

semi or no frost would be fine.. since kailangan mo din naman linisin ref mo paminsan-minsan.. also get the one with the highest EER (energy efficiency ratio).. this is the one written in yellow paper usually pasted on the door of the ref while on display...

OT.. ano ba tawag nyo dito - ref, fridge or pridyider...

jolog1 - Suggest that you get the No Frost fridge dahil less hassle and no big effect on electric bills. (Also, you might consider getting a bigger one, with a big freezer).

rsnald - Optional lang ang extended warranty for appliances. Never got one.
