Wala ring sinabi sa EULA na the Windows you purchased from the Philippines cannot be validated if installed to a PC in the U.S. The product activation is based on hardware hash signature, not country of origin.

Again, this is just a publicity stunt. Ask yourself this simple question: If an NBI Agent without a search warrant comes knocking on your front door and you refuse to open the door, will they kick the door and force their way in and search your house for computers? If your computers are inside your private bedroom and your wife is sleeping naked inside, will they force their way inside the bedroom just to boot-up the computer to check for serial numbers? Will they wait all day in your sala until your wife wakes up so they can enter the room? What if you refuse to get the computers out of your bedroom? Will they punch you black and blue just to verify that your Windows is licensed?

How can agents identify in the search warrant what house to raid for illegal copies of Windows XP? Is it possible to randomly choose any house to raid without knowing whether that house actually has computers?

Kung yung mga squatters makikipag-patayan dun sa mga pulis na magdedemolish ng shanties nila.... what more kung papasukin mo ng pwersahan yung bahay ng mga private citizens.

This threat is an urban legend.
