I agree! IMHO until they get the prices of M$ softwares at an affordable level for the filipinos, they would have a hard time stopping piracy. much like what's happening with pirated dvd's, dami na raid pero it's still rampant. with dvd's nga lang now at least the pricing of orig dvd's has gotten lower and lower, which i think is a direct result of their being unable to completely stop dvd piracy. so what the producers did was to make it affordable, habol na lang sila sa volume sales. now if only M$ will do these with their pricing here in the philippines, i don't see any problem with most people shifting to licensed softwares na. admittedly, problem nga lang with M$ is monopolized (to a degree) nila right now ang OS market. well, may iba naman na OS pero so far windows pa rin ang gamit for the vast majority. but even then until they get their products affordable, they won't be able to stop software piracy completly. anyway... just my 2 cents worth on the issue....Originally Posted by CtrlAltDel
