Have you tried other video sources like blurays or dvd's?
If symptom persists, you might as well have it check with qualified techs. Standard warranty is 2 years sir. LG offers home service check-up. Hassle kasi pag ikaw pa nagdala nyan sa SC, lalo na kung 42"
above, tapos wala pang box.
I sent your sample pic to my tech friend, let's see what he says about it.

mga sir gumagamit ba kayo ng avr for your tv? 2 beses na kasi nasisira backlight ng tv ko buti na lang under warranty pa. sabi nung tech dapat daw yung mga avr na tag 2k ang gamitin ko para daw di na maulit yung sira. ang cause daw kasi is either power fluctuation or overusage.
pagkapalit ng panel nitong tv ko papalitan ko na uli ng bago, para 2 yrs warranty uli and upgrade na din. i'm thinking of buying an avr if it will really be effective.

Nice! Hope to hear from your friend, appreciate it man!
Oo 42 ito, sad thing forgot where i stored the stand, pina mount ko kasi agad.
Yes i tried all video sources, lahat same display output.
Will try that home service, diagnose lang ba yun then they'll bring the unit? Or aayusin mismo sa bahay?
Thanks again.

gumagamit ako ng AVR sa mga tv, pero sa mga probinsiya, hindi dito sa MM.
madalas kasi power fluctuations sa mga probinsiya...
define "overusage". madalas bang gamitin o continous/wala ng patayan?
electrical/electronic parts overheats due to longer hours of continous use.
i usually give 1 hour rest for every 6 hours of continous use. and huwag hayaang bukas/on overnight.
btw, i'm using STAC and STAVOL Brands of AVRs.

hahaha wala pa naman ulyanin sa bahay sir
overusage - continuous, mula tanghali hanggang gabi mga 11pm hehehe.
pero pansin ko yung 2 times na nasira yung tv, may pinapanood kaming series gamit yung media player nung tv via usb.
fluctuations di ko alam kung pano madetermine kung meron pero mga once or twice a month bigla nagflicker ilaw dito sa sala.

It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
