pagkapalit ng panel nitong tv ko papalitan ko na uli ng bago, para 2 yrs warranty uli and upgrade na din. i'm thinking of buying an avr if it will really be effective.
Yung cheapo AVR from clone PCs ang gamit ko sa Samsung namin. Considering ng grabe ang brownout at fluctuation ng kuryente sa amin, hindi naman nagkaproblem pa sa TV.

Oo 42 ito, sad thing forgot where i stored the stand, pina mount ko kasi agad.

Yes i tried all video sources, lahat same display output.

Will try that home service, diagnose lang ba yun then they'll bring the unit? Or aayusin mismo sa bahay?

    Thanks again.

Sir, usually pag panel defect sa bahay na ginagawa. First, tech will give you a visit, check the unit, after diagnosis he'll qoute you on the damage and will ask if you want to proceed with the repair. Granting spare parts are available, the very next day ayos na tv mo. So far, that's my experience with LG.
Ano pong model nung LG nyo sir?

salamat mga sir. di na muna siguro ako bibili nung mamahaling avr baka masayang lang pera eh. i-revive ko na lang yung desktop ko as htpc para yun na lang media player ko instead of the built-in tv player. para at least bawas sa load nung tv.

i consider a good quality AVR as an investment lalo kapag di stable ang voltage sa lugar nyo.

LG tech guy gave me a visit yesterday, culprit maybe is:

    Defective motherboard (5k damage)

    Or panel na mismo (pricey)

He'll be back to bring a motherboard, sana mother board lang nga. If panel daw, he suggested na bumili na lang ako ng bagong tv.

Sir, was able to talk with my friend just today (an engineer from samsung panel/boards dept.)... It's your digital imaging board that is busted. You can order it online, you just have to provide them your model number and manufacturing date....

    Hi.

LG guy brought a spare motherboard, snapped it in my unit.

Same display as before, color is distorted/discoloration.

He concluded panel is really the culprit.

It will cost me 15k minimum.

Is it much cheaper to order online?

Thinking of just letting it go and get a new one.

    Badtrip.

    Sir, sorry about your tv...
    Panel? Hmmm...
The most common problem on panels are dead pixels. And 15k for panel replacement? That's a rip off. Bettter get a brand new unit, loose the old one. But i know some shops that offers trade-in promo.
