    hmmm...still... I don't get the point?

    Why freeze it? What does freezing do to the HD to make the files salvageable?

    can you guys help me out?

    would want a best bang for the buck pc system... might be getting a P4 2.6C (with HTT)...

    need the specs for a mobo and vid card to best suit it.

    and where's the cheapest place that I can get this? am currently browsing PCX for that kind of info...

    Nakita ko sa commercial ng PLDT na 1500 nalang ang DSL service nila. May binago ba sa speed o talagang nagbaba lang? Hindi kasi updated yung website nila.

    Nasabi rin sa akin na ibang modem ang gagamitin. Kasama na ba sa 2000 na installation yung modem na yun o bibilhin pa talaga? Baka kasi mahal.

    Frank, Its got something to do with the HDD motor. Freezing it seems to make it operate for some reason. I was skeptical too when i first heard of this, but after checking some articles over the internet, i got rather convinced. I'd think of it as a last resort procedure.... tipong wala na naman mawawala. :D

    When people talk of debugging, wala lang, general removal of software flaws, errors, and exceptions.

    Sa Hardware its called troubleshooting.

    Tanong lang po ano ba yung tawag sa video file na may extension na WMV(*.wmv)? Anong player software ang pwede gamitin para ma play ang may ganun extension?? Thankz. (",)

    Windows Media Video

    Yung Media Player ng windows or kahit na ano na pwede bumasa ng .wmv like RealPlayer, atpb.

    1. What is the main purpose of defragmenting hard disks?
    2. How often should one defragment?
    3. Is the disk clean different from disk defragement neither the error checking?

    1. AFAIK, the main purpose of defragmenting is cleaning up the space left by deleted/uninstalled files. By doing this, access time is lowered making the PC a little faster.

    2. I think once a month is ok.

    3. Disk clean is different because it removes unnecessary files.

    WMA pang audio lang ba cya o pwede din cya video file? MOV movie extension ba ang meaning nun? Ayaw ma play sa windows media player yung may MOV na extension.. salamat sa reply... (",)

    defragging also arranges files according to their frequency of access as well as arrange them in a contiguous manner for faster retrieval...

    IMO, defragging the hd should be done about once a week... maybe even more often if you constantly install and remove programs from your puter...

    gaddam finally fixed my frickin computer...!!!!!!!! may unauthorized rogue program (a worm) na umaandar sa background ng computer ko for a week now... grabe nasa constant 100% yung CPU usage at internet usage ko, yun pala its that damn worm sucking up all my cpu cycles and saturating my net and LAN connection grrrrrr

    yahoooo pwede na ulit mag tsikot!!!!!
