west sanctioned russia in 2014 already..russia is ready to nuke europe now..its preposterous to be talking about bullets

europe stand to lose more in a nuclear war..they have to accept the checkmate scenario in this chess game

impose the sanctions now thats putins challenge to the west..thats all they will ever do

russia is a gas station unlike japan

russia dont import raw materials to build their nuclear bombs..they build it on their own

Magkaisa dapat tayo lahat full blown economic sanction and embargo sa russia para mamatay at magcollapse na ang demonyong bansa. Short term pain with rising prices of goods and chaos in supply chain pero in the long-run mapabagsak na natin ang evil nation na puro kasamaan lang ginagawa. Next up will be china we can use vietnam and other SEA region + african countries as new manufacturing hub.

Nobody wants a nuclear war. If it comes to that, Russia and the US has more than enough nukes to blow us to thy kingdom come. Only UK and France have the nukes in Europe. They are both far away from the front. Nobody among the European states near Russia would dare poke an angry bear with nukes. This is the reason for all the diplomacy. When the shooting starts, everyone loses.

In 2008, the same situation happened in Georgia. Russia declared independence on the rebel provinces and placed troops to protect its interests. Georgia tried to take back by force the rebel provinces but faced the full might of the Russian Army. In less than 2 weeks, Russian troops had overrun most of Georgia and were just a few kilometers from Tblisi. Russia learned a lot in that war and decided a different approach for Ukraine.

Crimea broke away from Ukraine and joined Russia in 2014. The Donbas region is mostly ethnic Russians and wanted to be out of Ukraine. They are now declared independent.

The only solution is for all countries to demilitarize. NATO should start pulling out troops within the neighbor countries of Russia. Putting more troops just makes the situation worse. I guess you would not feel good if your neighbor starts showing off each day with guns in front of your yard.

In geopolitics, there is neither good nor bad but only national interests. Many countries despise how the US tend to intervene a lot into their affairs. Many countries don’t agree with the way China is putting a stranglehold on trade. Russia has its own interests and its means just don’t abide with other countries.

Why Germany is not interested on any sanctions against Russia? Europe’s richest country has interests of its own to protect.

China is waiting in the sidelines. If US won't do anything against russia invasion of ukraine then they will have more confidence to pull the trigger on invading taiwan as well..

It will be harder for China to establish cassus belli in Taiwan even though it has long declared Taiwan a rebel province. Noone in Taiwan wants to reunite with China.

Russia sees itself as a liberator of Donetsk and Luhansk. If Ukraine moves in to quell the declaration of independence of these provinces, it will just be enough reason for Russia to roll down armor up to the Dnieper River and split Ukraine in two.

This is the difference between Ukraine crisis and Taiwan. Russian-speaking ukranians support russia as rebels, Taiwan does not recognize China's sovereignity.
