The US should've quietly got its citizens out of NKR before all that tough talk. All of them are potential hostages/human shields

They're not going to be rescued. One of them is a moron who tried to steal a sign. The rest? Everyone else had the common sense to stay away. Why didn't they?

I've seen similar incidents of US servicemen and/or their dependents vandalizing property in Japan. So, it's not hard to believe he really tried to steal a sign.

US wants preemptive strike on NK

    China is against

US needs Japan's and SK's permission to strike (coz both countries would be hit by NK retaliation)

Japan is pro-US so no problem

SK is leaderless now (meron caretaker, sa May pa election)

Trump can exploit the power vacuum in SK and go ahead with preemptive strike

today is the 85th anniversary of the Korean People’s Army

usually NK marks events like this with missile launches

    and nuclear tests

    come on NK

    do it

    do it

give the US a reason to strike

neocon war hawks want a new war

why did Trump invite Du30 to the US

    big picture view

The US wants to attack NK

if/when the US attacks NK, it has to keep China from coming to NK's defense

so the US needs the Ph (base)

we're just southeast of China so we're geostrategically important to the US

that's probably why Trump invited Du30 to the US

    but Du30 declined

How could the US put up camp here though? China practically controls all our waterways. Wondering if it is possible without confronting China where they squat.

Boy, Sean Spicer sure sounds like he has his balls jammed up against his throat trying to explain away Trump's latest pronouncements. Reminds me of Abella.

So the reason trump called up du30 is to ask him to pressure Xi on North Korea

But China doesnt want to pressure nk too much that nk becomes suicidal

It is in china's nterest that north korea exists

If nk fails, sk will become whole korea and the US can set up a base right at the Chinese border

To china, nk serves as a buffer

And nk's mischief takes attention away from china's mischief in the south china sea

    China needs nk

While adults know when to stop feeding the troll/flamebaiters, Trump is caught up hook, line and sinker...

meron talaga shortage of brains ang local media and government natin

sa news, they're concerned about Guam, about pinoys in Guam

Dudes, if war breaks out between US and NK, who would NK most likely attack?

    SOUTH KOREA

how many pinoys are in SK?

NK doesn't even have to send missiles to SK

they'll just bombard SK with artillery

and who else can NK attack?

    JAPAN

NK can launch missiles at Japan

may nabasa pa ako concerned daw ang gobyerno natin sa missile debris pag nag launch ng missile ang NK to Guam

    wtf

missile debris is the least of our concerns

a desperate and suicidal NK will try to destroy Seoul and Tokyo

those 2 capitals are HQ to many of the largest companies in the world

    guess what happens?

    trade stops

    shipping stops

    global supply chains get disrupted

in this era of just-in-time inventory management, stocks run out

guess what happens to our highly import dependent economy?

if war breaks out in our part of the world, global shipping will be affected

at the very least, shipping companies will raise prices due to higher insurance cost, route change, longer transit time

at worst, nobody's gonna leave port or dock

goods from Asia to the West, goods from the West to Asia

    those will be affected

tayo dito sa Pinas, we think di tayo affected coz we're not gonna get nuked naman

and malayo ang NK, malayo ang Guam so di tayo ma-affect ng radiation

pero believe me we do not want this war to happen

Maybe Dennis Rodman can help quiet things down.

What I'm worried about is the ICBM's guidance system failing and hitting us by mistake. There's also a chance of them targeting us. Our fearless leader insulted theirs after all.

If ever the unthinkable happens, it's been nice knowing you all.

Not sure but this I remember clearly:

Philippines' Duterte calls North Korea's Kim a 'fool' over nuclear ambitions | Reuters

Not supporting sanctions seems to support China's interest. They are the ones who have the most to lose with a unified Korea.

Granted, sanctions can only go so far, and most suspect China isn't really following them.
