But politics helps burn calories... all that stress.

The thing about the opposition is that they have no guile... can't wait for her to leave power... can't wait for their next legitimate chance to unseat her... can't even use the weapons Gloria is giving them to unseat her.

Case in point: 1017. No matter how they try to spin it (and 1017 gives them a legitimate grievance, mind you), it doesn't seem like anyone really cares much anymore. They've just cried wolf too many times.

parehas na lang ni gma, ayaw ninyo sumunod sa batas. tapos pag nakakita kayo ng hindi sumusunod sa trafic rules post agad kayo ng picture sa goon squad kala mo sino na law abiding citizen.

oo nga karamihan ng tao/employees hanggang 2nd chance lang binibigay tapos wala na. pero ito mga nag-rally hanggang 5th to nth power chance nila maagaw gobyerno la pa din mangyari. pano ka ba naman maniniwala sa mga ganito. some say may hand of God yun people power kasi bloodless revolt, ito mga version ngaun ang talagang pakikibaka na ayaw talaga tulungan ng diyos.

baket puro nalng reklamo kay GMA? napapasubo lang sa black propaganda, every corrupt story you hear about GMA may katumbas na 3 storya kay FVR or ERAP. there's no solid evidence sa mga binabato sa kanya kaya pls put up or shut up...

lahat nalang ng sumuporta bayad daw, lahat ng mali sa pilipinas sya daw may kagagawan... please naman

True, every president is corrupt, but when you get caught, you have to pay. Erap did... why not GMA? Just because she's a better economist, she deserves immunity?

Exactly. Even the party-list representatives (Ocampo, Maza, et al) are hard to figure out. They were already given legitimate seats in Congress with which to air their grievances and pursue their respective agendas, yet they still insist on taking to the streets like any other two-bit protester nowadays. Sayang lang yung mga balotang inilaan para sa kanila.

It's already 2006, and pretty soon the opposition will have their second shot at an impeachment against GMA. Let's hope that this time, they don't botch things up. Personally, my throat hurts from laughing at their bungling efforts too many times. :bwahaha:

I doubt if GMA is performing her economist role as leader of this nation. coz if she does, then may god help us all. economist - + lang yan. less expense more income. less people more funds, more people, can lead to bankruptcy - solution bawasan people. katakut yun! perhaps that's one reason why she terminated the services of the Hyatt 10. doomsayers kasi eh compute lang ng compute. eh tayo ba as individual pinoy ganun din naman, pag-kinompute mo lahat, talagang hindi kakayanin ng finances to feed a respectable family. pero we lived on, we're survivors, that's the miracle. just like a leader, she can make a miracle out of a dead-end situation. after the Garci tapes bagsak tayo, pero ngaun pick-up na naman ang peso and stocks, and this is just in a matter of six months from Garci scandal.

but using the economist title, puwede coz we are an uneducated nation. anything that sounds like a professional job like economist, lawyer, doctor or general, malakas ang dating sa masa. pero siguro hanggang dun lang yun, kumbaka sa produkto, branding pero it's the service that really counts.

economics is not as simple as +-, kung ganon lang baket pa nagkaroon ng course na economics or accounting? running our debt ridden country is harder than running a top corporation like San miguel, Ayala, SM, etc...

... and speaking of people, matagal na may plano si GMA istreamline all government agencies, that means firing a lot of people na sa totoo lang wala naman ginagawa. pero mahirap gawin, nagstrstrike, nagrereklamo, etc. etc. democratic system kasi kaya mas mahaba at matagal talaga mga proseso
