Sir niky, meron bayad po, State of California. ;)

Bakit biniktima uli kaming mga gun owners? :fire:

OT: This Pipol Power being pushed by opposition is an obvious SHAM... Cory joining Jinggoy, Honasan, Marcoses, Binay, Pimentel? Sarswela ba ito?

The people on the streets now are mostly made up of RED COMMUNISTS, crooked, has-been politicians, opportunistic individuals, and people who have nothing better to do. It was totally unlike EDSA 1 when people from all walks of life were fed up with the marcos regime and joined together to fight whether they were rich or poor.

Like what I said in the other thread, mga walang trabahong tao na nagrereklamo sa kalsada lalo kayong magugutom! Just when the economy is starting to rebound, aatras nanaman mga foreign investors dahil sa gulo. How can we generate jobs without anyone investing here?

Yun nga eh. Ayan na naman yung tendency natin to shoot ourselves in the foot, just when things seem to improve.

I have great respect for EDSA 1, which for me was the real People Power. The others that followed after that, well, their not the same.

No. I won't be in People Power 4. People go to those rallies thinking that their lives will be better after replacing a president. Of the number of people who attended those rallies, how many of them had better lives due to the DIRECT influence of people power?

Me? I'd rather ensure my future by working and managing my finances better rather than rely on govenment.

The very evil side of me was thinking the same. Seeing those buses stranded wanted to make me reach for the driver's seat and run straight through those assholes. IMO, they deserve to be teargassed, watercannoned, or whatelse that was done to them.

Ayala Avenue People Power with jUNGGOY Estrada and
Cory Aquino and Satur Ocampo and other washed-up
politicos (like Guingona) sharing the same stage?
    Hahahahahahahahaha!!! What a joke!!!
Who the hell do they think they're fooling?
Were it not for the hakot squatters and good-for-nothing
leftists that they brought to Ayala, nobody would even be there
in Ayala Triangle to listen to their hypocritical speeches.

Cory Aquino does not give a **** about the Filipino people.
Look at how the Cojuangco family treated the sacadas at
Hacienda Luisita!!
Pwe! There's a special place in hell for people like Cory Aquino.
Cardinal Sin (that money-grubbing bishop) might already be
there keeping the room warm for Cory.

Lets just go our own way and continue to make a decent
    living.

People and leaders are divided.
    1. Those people na ayaw makialam, wishing the economy move forward and let Gloria finish her term (para walang gulo).
    2. Those people who said to be moralist led by Cory. Wanted Gloria's resignation (because she allegedly stole the Presidency) and put Noli to Presidency
    3. Those people who are lost. The masa… who blame their misfortune to Gloria. They want to oust her and put a leader whom they believe will bring them to a brighter future.

    Should we have a choice?
Pilipino deserved to be given alternative choice and the right choice….

You'll get your chance in 2010. In the meantime, please give this country a breather.

what the f*ck are you smoking? Were you at EDSA I? You really should read up on your history before you make idiotic statements like this.
This comment is based on my experience with EDSA 1. What I mean is that majority of the people went because of blind obedience to the Catholic Church, for curiosity sake, because they wanted to be part of history etc. etc. Majority did not go because they are fighting for a cause.

Yes I was at EDSA 1, I even have a rounded barbed wire with yellow ribbon as a souvenir. I, along with my friends and relatives both here and in the province went so that we can relate to others a historic ocassion. So that if someone idiotic ask me later on if I was at EDSA I, obviously YES.

If people toppled a president through people power the first time expect a second, third, fourth and many more to come.

Now making unholy comments on someones opinion is more idiotic!

Well, there's a vital difference between what EDSA 1 was and what EDSA 4, if it happens, will turn out to be.

EDSA 1, even though many people may not have known what the "cause" was, toppled a 20-year dictatorship and allowed the country to move on, even if just a bit.

EDSA 4 will be a desperate attempt for communists, political has-beens (Cory, Ramos, Guingona, etc.) and opportunists to grab power.

    In extremely short form:

    EDSA 1 - toppling of a dictatorship.
    EDSA 4 - power grab.

No, Sir I’m not for those people in rallies and yelling Gloria resign… but I want changes in the system… in leadership.
It is a very hopeless question “Should we have a choice? I think we don’t have. But we deserved to be given alternative choice… the right choice.. the question of when it should becomes is a BIG “?”
A little chance in 2010 election and be careful of not putting another or the same batch of corrupts politicians.

If you want to make a change in the government. GO OUT THERE N VOTE! By not voting, it's like you're saying, "bahala kayo!" N then when the president isn't doing the job, or you feel you're being robbed, THEN ppl want to voice out their opinion n make some action. For me, for the ppl that didnt vote, they have no say, and their opinion doesn't matter to me, they didnt care about the elections, and now they want a change in government. Sorry to sound rude or offensive, but it's the truth.

Plz make sure we all vote! That's the loudest action you can make.
