Will any local products that pacyou endorses follow nike's move? Or they're "worst than animals" because they have no balls.

    Slave of the religious right...

In the dzMM TeleRadyo clip that is a little over 25 minutes long, things started to get uncomfortable at the 6:30 mark. That's when Davila said to Pacquiao: "Naiintindihan kita na lagi mong kino-quote ang Bibliya, pero narinig mo na ba ang kasabihan na, 'separation of Church and State'? Ang paghihiwalay sa relihiyon sa Estado sa pamamahala ng gobyerno. Narinig mo na ba ang phrase na 'yun, na 'separation of Church and State' (I understand why you are always quoting the Bible, but have you heard about the 'separation of Church and State' The separation of religion from the government. Have you heard that phrase, 'separation of Church and State')?"

Pacquiao's answer: "Opo pero lagi nating tandaan na it is impossible for a nation to be successful without the guidance of the Lord (Yes, but we have to remember that it is impossible for a nation to be successful without the guidance of the Lord)."

Later in the interview, Davila asks Pacquiao: "Manny, tanong ko lang ano (I have to ask you), should you be a senator or should you be a pastor?"

Pacquiao didn't back down. He told Davila that it was necessary to bring the nation back to being "godly." He pointed out that the nation's leaders should "have the fear of the Lord."

^ Tama si Karen, mag pastor na lang sana si Pacquiao.

But the guy has his sights to run as President 6 in 2022 👎👎

Evangelical Christian versus another Evangelical Christian. Karen is an Evangelical Christian like Manny but she knows when to separate God from matters of the State. While Manny, he doesn't want to separate the matters of the State to the Church, that's already a culpable violation of the Constitution. Basic principle of the Constitution: Separation of the Church and the State.

I believe Manny wants to establish a theocracy if he becomes President. A State run by religious figures.

Sinabi din niya sa interview na yan na our country needs godly leaders, those who have fear of God. Why is he supporting Binay even if it is widely known that Binay is accused of stealing money from the taxpayers? Manny seems to be contradicting himself. He was defending Binay in that interview. If he truly believes that we need godly leaders, he should start distancing himself from UNA. Unless all those he shows to us (being a changed man and a God fearing man and a follower of Christ) is just pakitang-tao and he didn't really changed for the better.

I am an Evangelical Christian myself, and I condemn what Manny did. That is very unChristian-like. Christ taught us to love one another, not to hate each other. I think Manny has to study and understand the essence of the Bible again. Mukhang kulang pa ang understanding niya.

i came across a tweet from ANC News. apparently the good congressman posted something to the effect of "death to gays", but immediately deleted it -- not fast enough apparently.

Best comment I've seen so far:"The reason some people blow themselves up. All because of these prehistoric verses that ignorant people believe to be their absolute morality."

Pacquiao posts, deletes Bible verse on gays 'put to death'

Pacquiao's Instagram post gets 18,000 likes before being deleted

MANILA - After his controversial statement on same-*** marriage, followed by an eventual apology, boxing champ and legislator Manny Pacquiao took to Instagram early Thursday morning to say that homo***uals must be "put to death."

Quoting Leviticus 20:13 from the Old Testament, Pacquiao said on his verified Instagram account, "Do not have ***ual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable... If a man has ***ual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

The Instagram post, which showed a photo of the boxer-politician with his wife Jinkee, earned more than 18,000 likes before it was deleted at around 3 a.m. on Thursday.

The post was online for around two hours.

Back in 2012, Pacquiao figured in a similar controversy when he was accused of citing Leviticus and suggesting that homo***uals be “put to death.”

Back then, the boxing champ denied citing the Bible verse, claiming he had not read Leviticus yet.

“Hindi ako nagsabi niyan, kasinungalingan iyan,” said Pacquiao in 2012. “Hindi ko alam iyang verse ng Leviticus kasi hindi pa ako nakabasa ng Leviticus.”

That controversy led to The Grove mall in Los Angeles canceling his appearance in the popular events place.

In the since-deleted post, Pacquiao had some words for those criticizing him because of his Christian evangelist faith.

"Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man,' captioned Pacquiao, citing the Gospel according to Luke. “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets."

    PACQUIAO BACKS DEATH PENALTY

Pacquiao, in an interview Wednesday on DZMM Teleradyo, said he is in favor of the death penalty.

He said the death penalty is "biblical."

Pacquiao, who is running for a Senate seat, asked the audience to read Romans 13:1-7 from the Old Testament to understand his position.

According to the Book of Romans, "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished."

Pacquiao earlier apologized for saying people in a same-*** marriage are "worse than animals".
